Gran Turismo is one of those great racing games that have a huge problem for a lot of people - unfortunately, it was only designed to run on game consoles. For example, since 1997, when the first game in the series was released, Gran Turismo managed to sell over 11 million copies, making it the best-selling PlayStation game! Gran Turismo 5 is - obviously - the fifth game in the series, but it seems gamers will have to take their time and play the Prologue version for another year...

Don't think about the wait, better think about the fact that this game is going to feature no less than 900 (yes, those are two zeroes!) cars, as well as to include the Top Gear Test Track. Now, let's get to Prologue, more a demo that allows you to get a taste of Gran Turismo 5, than a real, fully featured Gran Turismo game...

As Chris Hinojosa-Miranda, associate producer at SCEA says, "to further clarify, GT5 is still about a year away. You should just decide now to buy [Prologue], enjoy it, go online and race against anyone and everyone, rank number one worldwide, get the girl (or guy) and become the most popular kid in town. The end."

Anyway, since Prologue also has a pretty solid feature list for "nearly a demo," I am sure there is enough to do for those waiting GT 5...and if they finish playing Prologue, there's always a good idea to return to Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 2, and the other two games released so far in the series, don't you think?

Creating a successful MMORPG is a very hard task, but once you managed to get enough players in and get those money flowing, it's even harder to keep those players involved for months and years, so that's why most such games get regular updates, and WoW is no exception to the rule.

-The Sunwell Isle is now available for play. This area includes a new quest hub and 5 and 25-player instances.

-The combined forces of Shattrath have launched an attack on the Isle of Quel'Danas, to confront Kael'thas and the Legion at the Sunwell and surrounding areas. Players will now be able to gain reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive and participate in a new set of daily quests.

-A representative of the Keepers of Time has been spotted at the World's End Tavern in Shattrath. Players in good standing with the faction will be granted ease of passage to the Caverns of Time.

-Characters will now retain talented spell ranks so when they retalent they do not have to relearn the spells from trainers.

-Spell Haste: Spell haste now reduces the global cooldown on spells, down to a minimum of 1 second. This change does not apply to melee and ranged abilities.

-Item Cast Spells: Many spells cast by items were being cast as if the caster were the same level as the item. Most of those will now be cast at the player's level, giving them a reasonable chance to miss, be dispelled, or be resisted.

-Resilience: Now reduces the magnitude of mana draining effects by the same amount that it reduces critical strike damage. The Tooltip has been revised to reflect this.

-Spirit-Based Mana Regeneration: This system has been adjusted so that as your intellect rises, you will regenerate more mana per point of spirit.

-Weapon Skill: Points will be gained faster in weapon skills for levels 1 through 59.

-The Daily Quest limit has been increased to 25.

-Non-self % based haste spells will no longer stack with each other.

I am sure those of you looking to enjoy some horror adventures on their computers will be pleased to find that Ignition Entertainment and Playlogic announced the fact that Obscure The Aftermath for Wii, PS2 and PC reached "Gold Master status", and its release is only a few days away.


Ajay Chadha, Ignition Entertainment USA's president, said "Survival horror gamers have been anxiously waiting for this game, and we’re pleased to announce that it is ready to go," confirming the release of this game right on schedule, on the 25th of March.

Well, it seems Ignition has very high hopes with this game, and I think they have enought reasons for that - since the screenshots look great, and I can only hope the gameplay will match the visuals, or maybe even the story can turn graphics into a simple background...

The prices in North America will be $14.99, $19.99 and $29.99 - for the PC, PS 2 and Wii.
