Teenage Zombies : Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys! Is Gold

Do you like horror games? To be honest, I am not crazy about such things, although sometimes they can give you exactly that kind of cheap and quick fun you won't get anywhere else (well, maybe only a quick Minesweeper round...). Well, this time it's not only horror, because Ignition Entertainment announced its comic sci-fi game Teenage Zombies to arrive on the 15th of April, only for the Nintendo DS. So...what's this game all about?

Teenage Zombies - Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys

Check this out - "The Big Brain is threatening mankind and the only hope to save the world is the Teenage Zombies!" Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brainy Thingys allows you to "help the un-dead heroes - Finnigan "Fins" Magee, Lori "Lefty" Lopez and Zach "Halfpipe" Boyd - as they use their insatiable zombie hunger for brains to help save mankind from the Big Brain!" Could you say "no" to such an invitation?

Rated E10+, Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys! is developed by InLight Entertainment, and will be available for $29.99.

Stardock’s Demigod

Remember Stardock? Founded back in 1991, they are widely known for their Windows customization tools, but they also develop and publish computer games, and I must admit I enjoyed some of their TBS games a lot. Now, I just found out some interesting things about one of their upcoming titles, called Demigod, developed together with Gas Powered Games...

Stardock Demigod

Currently scheduled for launch in February, 2009, Demigod is "a team-based action game with RTS and RPG elements," which is expected to enter the Beta stage this summer. Its full website is still a few steps behind, but you can already begin talking about what you expect from it here.

Chris Taylor, founder and CEO of Gas Powered Games, said they are very excited about the partnership with Stardock, concluding "Not only do we have a proven retail publisher, but we get to partner with a pioneer in the digital distribution space… a company that totally understands what kind of experience our customer wants and the quality game they demand."

Well, as long as this game is going to be as "bugless" as possible, I am sure the experience will be a pleasant one, just as it happened with previous games where Stardock was involved...

Enter The Online Wonderland!

No matter if your name is Alice or not, soon you'll be able to visit Wonderland without any problem! Well, I am not talking about THAT Wonderland, but a virtual one is also an interesting challenge. Obviously, I am talking about a new MMORPG, so let's see what do we have here, shall we?

Wonderland Online

I am sure those with older computers will be delighted to find out that Wonderland Online is a 2D turn-based MMORPG that won't cry for expensive hardware upgrades. The story is about a group of survivors that ended up on a strange and desolate island, after their ship ran aground. Here, it's all about solving puzzles, leaving the island, and then travel around the world. The complete Closed Beta Test client will become available for download at 23:59pm EST (GMT-5) April 8th, and those that already have the Alpha client will be able to only download an update patch, instead of the whole game. To find out more about this interesting game, feel free to visit the official page, here.

Rockstar Games Grabbed Mad Doc Software

If I say "Rockstar Games," most people would think of Take-Two and their notorious Grand Theft Auto franchise. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, Rockstar Games is a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, and they just acquired Mad Doc Software, one of the premier independent development studios in North America. The result? Rockstar New England, and a stronger position for the entire Take-Two Interactive, now under EA Games' scope.

"The team at Mad Doc Software is extremely talented. Bringing them within the Rockstar Games family will enhance our core technology and further support our commitment to creating progressive and innovative gaming experiences," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games.

Founded in 1999, Mac Doc Software focused on artificial intelligence and networking so far, and their latest collaboration with Rockstar was on the Xbox 360 version of the Bully: Scholarship Edition game.

Dr. Ian Lane Davis, Studio Head of the new Rockstar New England and Mad Doc founder, said "To be a part of Rockstar Games is an amazing opportunity for everyone here. We're eager to bring our expertise to bear in the character-driven, open-world stories that make Rockstar Games titles so uniquely compelling."

Dawn Of War II Website Is Up!

If you're into RTS games, I guess you must have played Dawn of War until now. If you have not, at least you must have heard about it. Released back in 2004, Dawn of War got no less than 3 expansion packs in the meantime, and now it seems Dawn of War II is getting near...

Dawn of War II

Continuing the tradition of the Dark Crusade and Soulstorm expansion packs, Dawn of War II is expected to feature a non-linear campaign, but for now, the only confirmed races are the Space Marines and the Orks.

As the title of this article says, the official website is up, so feel free to pay it a visit. At this time, all that you can see is a teaser video, as well as a few screenshots, but be sure to check back from time to time for new content and updated news.

Dawn of War II is currently developed exclusively for Windows PCs, and is scheduled to arrive in early 2009.
