A game designed primarily for multiplayer slaughter, with up to 64 players allowed on a server, as well as 16 players in single player mode against bots, Battlefield 2142 will be 2 years old this October, but it doesn't show any signs of getting old. On the contrary, back in early March, 2007, EA Games released the Northern Strike booster pack, including new maps, unlocks, and vehicles. Today, the time has come for an update to the game, bringing the current version up to 1.50.

Prince of Persia is one of those game franchises that always managed to stand out of the crowd, and - at least to me - all the games from the series were great. In the Prince of Persia trilogy, Princess Farah had no effect on gameplay, but now, Ubisoft Montreal wants to change this, by adding Elika to the game, the Prince's female cohort. <-250x250 Square - left->Today, Capcom just confirmed that this "next gen" fighting game known to the world as Street Fighter IV, will arrive on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, as well as Windows-based PCs.

According to the press release, "Street Fighter IV features a mix of returning favorites such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile along with new characters created for this game, such as Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus."

While the arcade version of the game is expected to launch in July, specific dates for the console and PC versions mentioned above still have to be confirmed, so until then, let's dream about what we are going to get...

"Characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes. Six-button controls for the game return, with a host of new special moves and features integrated into the input system."
