The interesting part is that we have no idea exactly who bought them, since the "About Us" section of the site now reads "MyMMOShop.com has been in business since 2003. We have locations in the United states, Ireland, and Australia. We are owned by a large private equity firm."

Anyway, for only less than 6 years on the Web, going as high as 10 million bucks really sounds good. Great job, guys!

Ehem, ehem... Entropia Universe, does that ring a bell? That's exactly what I was asking myself a few hours ago, and then it all came back to me - I tried to enjoy this game, I really did, but to no avail. In fact, I tried it back in the Project Entropia days, and it bored me to hell. All I can remember is this - "Booooooring. Next!" - this, and nothing more.

Now, things are much more interesting, with over 800,000 people inside the Entropia Universe, all for free, without any subscription fees. If you want to get a quick description, here you go - "The Entropia Universe is more than a game. The Entropia Universe is for real. Real people, real activities and a Real Cash Economy in a massive online universe."

Speaking about the future, it seems this game is going to use the CryENGINE 2, and that should say it all. If it doesn't, then you should go and read a cooking book. Really, no offense!

Sam & Max is a hilarious couple that appeared for the first time in a comic book published for the first time in 1987, by Steve Purcell, Sam being a 6-foot tall dog based off an Irish Wolfhound, while max is a "hyperkinetic rabbity thing."

OK, and the link with the gaming world is...??? Well, since the comic book has been pretty successful, these two characters had the chance of moving into the video games world, Telltale Games' Sam & Max being a great gaming series based on the comic book bearing the same name.
