Resident Evil 5 Demo, Download!

Resident Evil 5 demo, download yourself! I order you! Come on, faster, faster! Oh, sorry, I was talking to a piece of code... so I guess I should see a doctor - but it would be even better to grab that piece of code and fire it up, don't you think? After all, this isn't just an ordinary game, it's Resident Evil 5!
Resident Evil 5 Demo
The big news is that Capcom's highly anticipated survival horror game has become available on Xbox Live yesterday. Exclusively available, of course! The size of the Resident Evil 5 demo download is 472.65MB, and I must confess this game is extremely small, if we look at the others on the market these days, usually going way beyond 3-4GB, in most cases. OK, so we have a small setup package to download, but what's inside it?

The Resident Evil 5 demo offers two levels for you to go through, but that's not all! Fortunately, you will also be able to play cooperatively with another player over Xbox Live, and the best part of it all is that early reports claim that everything is running perfectly.

These being said, I have to warn you about one thing - if waiting to get a full cake in your plate as soon as smell from the kitchen hits you is too hard, then you should better stay away from the Resident Evil 5 demo for another month. Why am I saying this? Well, the full game is expected to drop by in March, so having only two levels to fight through now may be too painful for some...

MK vs DC, Near The 2 Million Mark!

In today's world, you can't have a good game on the market without a serious cash amount invested into it, first. Those few exceptions from small studios exist only to confirm my statement, and not to come in contradiction with it. Midway Games' MK vs DC is one of those games that got their creators a bunch of debts, first of all, but now the rewards are starting to appear...
MK vs DC
Yesterday morning, the Chigaco-based Midway Games announced some sale numbers surprising for a lot of people, including themselves - Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe has sold almost 2 million copies worldwide - 1.8 million, to be more accurate - since its November 2008 release.

Available for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the game comes in two flavors - a regular version, worth $59.95, and a "Kollector's Edition," with a price tag of $69.95.

According to Mortal Kombat creative director Ed Boon, "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was the result of countless hours of hard work by many people, and seeing the game surpass the million-seller plateau makes it worth all the effort."

For us, MK fans(at least speaking for myself, I know this is true), those countless hours of hard work are worth the price of the game a few times, and since a sequel is already in the making, let's hope for a brighter future! Unfortunately, all that has been said is that "We're already hard at work on our next version of Mortal Kombat, and look forward to being able to reveal more details in the future," so we should wait to see more details showing up...

Ken Action Figure

I don't know if I told you already, but here's a confession - back in the days when I was a kid, Street Fighter was one my passions. Since I didn't have any gaming console or computer around, seeing those arcade slot machines running Street Fighter here and there raised my heartbeat instantly.
Ken Action Figure
On the other hand, I never got crazy enough about action figures. First, it was because I found them rather useless, and second - but probably even more important - because I always had something better in my mind as "next thing to buy," but if you're running out of ideas, here's some interesting addition for your collection...

"Pop Culture Shock Collectibles is proud to announce KEN as the next figure in it’s popular line of limited edition 1/4 scale statues based on Capcom®’s legendary property, “Street Fighter®”.

The Ken statue is 18” tall ( 19.5” tall with base), will be limited to 300 pcs worldwide ( a special Sideshow only version will be limited to 150 pieces) and is scheduled to ship in June 2009 with an MSRP of $250.00.

It will be available for pre-order in the USA through www.SideshowCollectibles.com ( available on January 29th ), Diamond Distribution Previews February Edition, as well as specialty stores.
"

Ain't that just great? First of all, you should have a lot of space on your desk for the 20-inch Ken, and $250...ouch!!
