Team Fortress 2 Spy Update!

Team Fortress 2 is a great game. I don't know about you, but I love it. Beyond its cartoonish looks, there's an impressive amount of real time tactics that you need to employ to overwhelm your enemies, and the best part of it all is that you need to continuously adapt your style to that of your enemies, as well as to that of the other team members fighting by your side.

When talking about classes that made you talk dirty most frequently after being killed, my first choice is - obviously - the spy. After all, being sniped ain't such a shame, but being stabbed in the back... that's a little different story!

"He is a puzzle, wrapped in an enigma, shrouded in riddles, lovingly sprinkled with intrigue, express mailed to Mystery, Alaska, and LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU! but it is too late. You're dead. For he is the Spy—globetrotting rogue, lady killer (metaphorically) and mankiller (for real)."

If I counted them well, there are no less than 34 achievements for the spy character to unlock in Team Fortress 2, and you can find them all here. Just be sure not to miss the video - if you didn't manage to take a look at it yet, of course!

Just as a final note - it's also worth a laugh taking a look at the "Valve Corporate Achievement" they just unlocked by releasing the movie via YouTube earlier than it should have been...

Fallout 3 DLC For PS3

Fallout 3 is a game that can help those who hate reality enjoy it, maybe even a little. Why am I saying this? Well, if you played the game already, then you surely agree with the fact that the fictional world depicted by Fallout 3 is much worse than the one we're living in but, on the other hand, a single individual - your character - can do a lot more to change it than one single man can do to reshape Earth as we know it...

Fallout 3 DLC PS3

Anyway, we're not here to talk about the thin border between reality and the universe of games like Fallout, because that's too much of a subject, really. What we should do know is continue the trip through the Fallout 3 news land, with a new piece of info that will surely make some games jump for joy - Fallout 3 DLC for PS3, finally!

So far, only those PC and Xbox 360 bastards had the privilege of enjoying DLC for Fallout 3, but now PS3 users can finally enjoy the original Operation: Anchorage pack next month, while releases of The Pitt and Broken Steel are expected to follow about four to six weeks after that.

Hey, that's not all! Once all the above happens, PS3 Fallout 3 fans will also be awarded Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta, but still some time after the Xbox 360 and PC versions are being launched(June and July, respectively).

One last thing you should know - as strange as it may seem, all the DLC packs for Fallout 3, despite the fact they are... downloadable content, will also be available through conventional retail outlets.

Serious Sam 3 Confirmed

If you missed playing any of the first two Serious Sam games, then let me remind you why should you go ahead and give them a try right away... Anyway, before talking about Serious Sam 3, I think a little gaming history lesson is needed, so let's get this show started!
Serious Sam 3
Serious Sam: The First Encounter, released in 2001, got a whole bunch of prizes, like PC Game Of The Year from GameSpot, IGN's Editor's Choice, or the Outstanding Achievement in Technology award from IGN Action Vault.

The second Serious Sam game isn't Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, since this one introduced some awesome weapons (chainsaw and flamethrower included, hell yeah!!!) and continued the action from The First Encounter, being pretty much the same game. Now, Serious Sam: Gold Edition is the best thing to buy for those looking to play the first game in the series, since the package includes The First Encounter, The Second Encounter, as well as the Dark Island expansion.

Back in 2005, Serious Sam II arrived, although it's considered by some to be the third game in the series. Its graphix engine came with support for a wide range of modern graphics treats, like pixel shaders, vertex shaders, HDR, bloom and Parallax mapping.

Now, Serious Sam 3 has been confirmed, and we know it's going to have a whole new graphics engine, and it seems a publishing deal could be signed pretty soon. Unfortunately, that's all - Serious Sam 3 has been officially confirmed, but there's not much official stuff here... no date of release, no system requirements, only the certainty that Serious Sam 3 is headed this way.
