The PC game world has expanded in a few years at an enormous rate. There`s unlikely that still are grownups and children that haven`t played a computer game just for once in their life time. The PC games put reign on our lives, either we play home, or at work, this problem has extended, and it`s disturbing social life.

But PC game builders, have done many things, at least in these last years to help stop a problem that many couldn’t agree with: profanity filter for pc games. Imagine that for an adult, this thing is not the end of the world, taking into consideration that he can judge what is good, and wrong, and what actions he can and can`t do, but for a 12 year child, this is unlikely to happen. Children have a remarkable perception, and a good memory too. If he plays a game, with an exhaustive list of profanity and shocking sexual metaphor, he may suffer along the way some psychical changes, some emotional feelings that may cause different strange behavior reactions.

For this, many game builders, decided to stop this thing, by inserting profanity filter. They introduced along with the disc an Urbandictionary that includes several languages (English, German, Spanish, Japanese , Russian, etc.). The thing is they want to keep children from sexual expressions, and other vulgar behavior, in order to ensure that the game will remain a game, even in the mind of the player, which in many cases is a child.

“Pure”, is a game, a Disney one, that has this filter. Along with the game, you will find in the package a folder with the installation of a profanity filter, made by the programmers just for this kind of problem. So when a kid is going to buy “Pure”, he will get a couple o exciting extras that include the dictionary of obscenity-laden slang and an extensive catalog of sexual perversions.

After all, they had to do this kind of thing, although their late with it, but doesn`t matter, good thing they did it, because children especially are seeing and playing these games, and I don`t find it normal that a 12 year child should detonate bombs, or hear and speak all kinds of slang words. In other words, profanity filter for pc games, is a good start, but there are many thing that must be handled in order to make games less violent and more interactive and fun, like Disney did, just hopping that this won`t go more far than it went already.

Games, in general have always been fun, whether we talk about hide and seek like we used to play when we were children, or if is a PC game, people always enjoyed playing fun games, grownups or children, single or together, games will entertain people and make them always smile.

Nowadays children have changed the way of playing, and when I am saying this, I make reference not to the actual games, cause their changing day by day, but to the way they play them, and that is the problem: they play alone. Pc games turned the tables a little bit, cause children play along with other, but just virtually, cause the fact is that they really play alone. It`s not that I don`t like, or play PC games, I really do, but I don`t agree spending time for hours and hours in front of the PC.

You all know monopoly, well, I find it the most popular interactive family game ever. People play all kind of fun games, but in the past years the family mode for PC games has erupted, and had a high percentage up-flow. One family PC game, that has catch the public eye, is the Sims. If you want to hear my opinion, I am not a big fan of this game, but this is just me.

The thing is that, there are still some role model families, that like to keep that tradition: wake up at 7 sharp in the morning, go to their boring job, have breakfast at 12, come back from work at 6 after a awful day, take their kids from kindergarten, go home, have supper and play till 11 in the night monopoly, or Sims, or just another boring family PC game. Maybe someday, I will do this too, who knows, considering the fact, that I rather play with my children then to let them play alone all day in their rooms some sick game.

Considering the fact, that the family mode for PC games has expanded to all kind of games, I think it`s a better option, then to let a child alone and play, without having society contact, not playing with other children and so on. It`s fun when the whole family stays together and play all kind of fun games, either there are family PC games, Twister, or Jenga, and the PC games engineers, figured that out, and started to make all types of silly fun games. Come to think of it, I would consider starting to play Sims, not that I am attracted to the idea, but just for family fun.

Who doesn`t like to play? That`s a good question, taking into consideration that all of us were children, and many still are, what could possible entertain a child or a grownup child better than a pc game. Let`s take a road trip back in time, almost two decades  and ask ourselves a question: how did people managed not to get bored without pc games?

Well, pc games exist for quite some years, but in the past recent time, there has been an “explosion” on the internet of free pc download games. Why is that? Is it because people don`t like to buy games from stores anymore? Is it because people don`t have money to buy licensed ones? No, I`ll tell you why: because today, people have a strange and without threat disease named snugness. Why should I buy it from store when I have internet, and I can simply type free pc download games, and I  will have about a few million chance`s that I will play as simple as possible.

Don`t get me wrong, I am doing it to, and it`s happening at a large scale, I should say a worldwide scale, and I am not saying it`s all wrong, but free pc download games had developed so much, that I think they don`t have a clue about what they are going do to in the next two years when they will devour all the  resources (ideas). But what am I saying?  the ever growing human mind, won`t let this happen, taking into consideration it is after all a business, and a profitable one to.

One thing is for sure, no matter where you are, or what  you are doing, either you are at home, or at work, free pc download games will do their job, and entertain the human mind and spirit, and it is unlikely that the ones behind them will stop, because as long as one thing is requested, it will be given. But with all that, one thing is certain, and I will never doubt it: nothing  compares with  a complex, full version, bought from store pc game, not even one free downloaded one, but that again, it  is just my opinion. Anyways, I am just wondering, taking into consideration the ever growing mass of free pc download games sites, how it will affect the “shop from store” market, cause in this chaotic life, where everybody is trying to have a purpose, and lives with the impression that time is not enough, simple  and  superficial things are followed, and in our case, it is slightly to stay home without effort and play a free pc download game rather than to buy one.
