On June this year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Scribblenauts was the most favored game, charming everybody present there. In fact it was such a sensation that it managed to beat even the heavy ones such as “Splinter Cel: Conviction” and “God of War II”. Even the ones familiar with Scribblenauts will notice that actually this game is a combination of platformer and puzzle game and its way of playing is quite special. The system in the game will not recognize names, shapes, root words or places, or vulgar content as well as the stuff that is copyrighted. The visuals of the game render a correct representation of everything that it is drawn and therefore can be easily recognized even if the screen presents a low-resolution. Scribblenauts is a charming experience and surprisingly different from what you have expected.

In the real world golf has its own definition and rules to play but in this island of fantasy Pangya is seen as a golf game that was invented to pay tribute to a hero who defeated a dark lord by hitting a ball into a hole. And because of this, Pangya: Fantasy Golf has nothing to do with an ordinary sports game, involving fantastical fairways and colorful characters. Pangya Island provides nine golf courses which support single player tours and some matches reserved for up to eight players, but it is better to give it first a try as a single player to enjoy the full length of the Story.

The moves that are done in an over-the-top way turn the moments of The Bigs 2 into the most exciting ones, but it is a pity that strategic pitching completely occupies the game. Every pitcher is entitled to four different pitches, the aiming is done through an onscreen cursor, then you hold down the correspondent button in order to gain power and then release it. If you get near the power gauge, you have the possibility to throw another harder pitch an hide where the ball will land. The strategy is rendered by your plan to figure out when to try for the money pitch and when to wander around the corners.

The mechanics involved in the hitting are not that deep displaying the option for you to swing for contact or power without any other whistles. When you are already familiarized with the mechanics you can unleash your superpowers, being in the field you can take a leap that high that you can snatch a ball these being triggered by quick-time events. Being a batter you are allowed to use Big Blast that leads to a contact that enables you to fly the ball out of the park. The baserunners need to be watched otherwise they will make something stupid. The fielders are able to jump higher than anyone present but the problem is that they can not track down the balls.

The Bigs 2 is played in its majority as a baseball game but it also presents some mini games and other goals with the purpose of adding some diversity. The visuals are very well rendered with player models created in detail and the sense of real life going on in the stadium next to a commentary that brings excitement to the game.

The experience one gets on the field makes the game so much fun to be and the excitement propels The Bigs 2 as the star of this kind of shows.
