Funny Office Party Games
Whenever it is a special occasion, such as someone's birthday or anniversary or the accomplishment of something important there is important to make a party. You can have it anywhere you want, such as at a restaurant or club, at your own home and even at the office. Most of the office parties take place before a big holiday (Christmas, Easter etc.) or when the employees had a very good productivity in the last period of time. Usually this kind of parties are organized and paid by the company. But either if the party is organized by the company or by some other people, there are many funny office party games that you can come with. And if you'll be the one to come up with a cool game, all the others will thank you later, and will say that they had so much fun thanks to you.

There are many types of games to play at an office party, and now we will tell you some of them. A fun one is the "Guess the movie game". Here you will have to place in a bowl several notes with famous movie names written on them. Tell the guests to make pairs, and then select a pair to begin the game. They will have to select a note from the bowl and enact a scene from that movie. The others will have to guess which movie it is. The pair who guesses will be the next to become actors.
Another fun game is the "Mr. / Mrs. Freeze". You won't need any supplies for this game, because it is quite simple. First nominate a person who is the Mr. or Mrs. Freeze. During the meal, when everyone is sitting at the table and eating that person will have to completely freeze. As time passes, other guests at the table must notice this and freeze too. The goal is to make everyone to freeze, and the last person to notice this will be the loser.

Another funny office party game is the "Famous movie one liners". First write some notes with famous lines from well known movies (for example "I'll be back" from Terminator). Then read each of the lines, one at a time and the guests will have to guess from which movie is that quote. When someone makes a good guess, he will get a point. To make it more interesting you can give them extra points if the can name the character or actor that said the line. Whoever will have most of the points is the winner. If the company organizes this game, it can also add some prizes. For this game an appropriate prize will be a DVD with a good movie.

You can also play the "Liar, Liar" game. In this one you will need to place the guests at a table, or in a circle. Each one should tell three statements about him: one that is true and two other that are false. After each player's turn, the other will have to vote on which of the statement was the truthful one. Whenever someone makes a wrong guess, the person who told the statements gets a point. After they are all done, the one wit the highest score is the winner, and be crowned as "The biggest liar in the office". :)
Another hilarious game is the one with the cotton balls. For this one you will need some more "equipment"; you will need two chairs, two buckets, some cotton balls, a spoon a blind fold and a timer. Place the chairs pretty close to each other and the buckets on top of them. Put the cotton balls in one bucket and leave the other empty. Blindfold the first person, turn him a few times to make him a little dizzy and place him in front of the bucket with cotton balls. He will have to take scoop the cotton balls out from the bucket using only the spoon, and transfer them to the empty one. Set the timer on 1 or 2 minutes, and tell him when to start and when to stop. After everyone had their turn, the person who managed to transfer the most cotton balls from one bucket to another is the winner. Because the cotton balls are very light, the guests may get confused. I will happen that some of them will transport an empty spoon, thinking that there is a cotton ball on it. And this will make the game really funny for the persons who are watching.

You can also try this game: give each person a small card hanging on a string and tell them to wear these around their necks. Then ask the guests to mingle, Each time a person says the word "no", he would have to give his tag to the person that heard him saying that. The person who will have the most tags after a few minutes will be the winner.
When everyone takes a break to serve dinner, and they are all sitting at a table you can try the "message under a plate" game. ". For this game you will just need some small pieces of paper or blank business cards, a pen and some ideas. You will have to write a different phrase on each of the small papers and place them under each guest's plate. Make the phrases usable but a little strange. Tell each guest about them, but don't allow them to read or to share their phrases with the others. Tell each one to use that specific phrase in the conversation. You can make a competition out of this, and the goal will be to use that phrase in the conversation without anyone else to notice. The first who will accomplish this gets a prize.

Another game involving celebrities is this one: stick a note on each person's back, with the name of a celebrity written on. The other people will have to talk to that person just like they are talking to the real celebrity. Each person will have 5 minutes to figure out which celebrity they are. Of course this game will involve a lot of movement, because they will need to go from one person to another, and to look at each others' back. So this will make them stand up from the chairs or couch, and have some fun.

These were just some of the games you can try at an office party, and of course there are many more others. You can also try classical games (that you can get from the store) such as Monopoly, Scrabble, Twister and others of this kind.
