It was first used for political and military purposes, in the United States of America, but then it expanded more and more, and today it has taken over the whole world. The computers and the internet are something normal and very useful to most of the countries, and it is used in so many activities, that we can’t  imagine how the world would have been today without the computer and the internet. You can do so many things on the internet, but you can also have a lot of fun. A good method to relax yourself on the internet, and also have some fun, is to play a free online game. These are short and funny games, that can be played directly on the internet. So you don’t need to download or install anything on your computer. Just search for a site with free online games, and play them. A game doesn’t take so long to complete (about 5-10 minutes) and then you can move on to another one. The site is famous all over the world, and that’s why you will find in the upper side of the screen a bar with many flags of countries. Here you can  choose the desired language for the site. If you can’t find your language among that list, you can always leave it like it is : in English. There are thousands of games on this site, and you can choose them in different ways. First of all you will see the newest games. Below this you will see a list with the most played games from the site. The list actually consists of images with each game. If you held the mouse cursor above a picture for 2 seconds, then you will see the name of that game. But you can also click on the “Full list” button, and see the list of the games, with name, a picture, and a short description. The left and right keys are not used to steer the truck, but to lean it forward or backwards. Let’s choose another racing game, and we’ll take the one called “Hey taxi”. Your objective here is to deliver passengers to their destination in the fastest time possible. You can also collect powerups and points while you are driving in India. The graphic of the game is pretty nice, but the car can be difficult to handle. Like we said you are in India, so this means you will have to drive on the left side of the road. It can be quit difficult at the beginning if you are used to drive on the right side. Drive through the city, and collect the passengers from the side of the road. Stop near a person, and he will automatically get in your taxi. After that follow the blue arrow and get to the destination as fast as possible. When you reach the destination just stop near it, and the passenger will get out, and you will gain money. After that move to the next passenger and take him to the destination. Collect as many passengers as you can, but first be sure to accomplish your goal. Also collect the yellow stars, and hit the wood boxes to find useful items.


Since we began with some racing games, let’s play just games of this type today. Next we will play the “Day drive”. The objective here is to be the first to cross the finish line, using just the arrow keys to control the car. The graphic of the game is really nice, and the cars are looking good too. The driving sensation is pretty good too, and the car will be more difficult to control, especially at high speed in corners…just like a real car. So you will have to use your break from time to time. Don’t worry if you hit against walls or other items, because the car won’t get damaged. But you will lose time, so try to crash as least as possible. Be careful to overtake your opponents, but also try to collect diamonds for more points,  and other items (such as lightening bolts) for extra speed. Good luck!

We are sure you already seen this character in short movies or games, because it is really famous, and also very easy to make for the game creators. It usually has the body, the arms and legs made just of simple lines. And the head is made with just a simple circle. Sometimes he can have  eyes, mouth and other face parts, but usually he doesn’t even have eyes, mouth etc. and he has just a simple circle. Usually the games and videos with stick man characters involve a lot of fighting and shooting, so that’s why  they are really famous.

You will find many funny stickman games on the internet, and today we are going to discuss some of them. Let’s begin with the game called “Stickman Sam”. Your objective in this game is to help Sam complete the training and become a soldier. And after that you will be ready to destroy enemies using all sort of weapons. Use the W, A, S, D keys to move Sam, and the mouse to aim and to shoot. You can change the weapon with the E or Q key. This is just the first part of the game (there are two more others) and this game alone has 19 missions. So you will have a lot to play, and you won’t get bored fast. The game has a very simple, black and white graphic but it is really fun to play. It has some cool gun shoots sounds, and also a nice music. The first missions are really simple, and between each mission there will be a dialogue between the stickman and a person behind a speaker. Have fun!



Another nice stickman game is the “Stick fighter”. This game has two modes, the first where you can play against the computer, and the other where you can play against a friend, on your computer (2 players mode). Like in any arcade fighting game the controls are complex but you will learn them quickly. When you play a one player game you have to use the arrow keys for movement,  the ~ for a weak punch, the 1 key for a strong punch, the 2 for a weak kick and the 3 for a strong kick. When played in two, the first player must move his stick man using the V, N, G, B keys, and use the same controls as in “one player mode” to activate the punches and kicks. The second player is using the arrow keys for controlling the fighter and the <, >,  ? and shift keys to kick and punch. There are also some key combinations to throw a fireball. Press “back + forward + weak punch” to throw a slow fireball and “back + forward + strong punch” for a fast fireball. Like in most of the stickman games, the graphic is very simple and monochromatic, but the game can be really fun, especially when played against another person.



Now let’s play the game called “Stickman Odo 1”. This is a click and point game and you will have to guide the stick man to safety. Use the mouse to click when the time is right, in the right place, to make the stick man do all kinds of actions. But be careful because  if you  give him the wrong instructions, he will die. But you can always try it again, until you succeed. Sometimes you won’t see anything on the screen, so just move the mouse around until the cursor becomes small palm. Click it there to perform an action. The graphic of this game is really simple too, probably too simple, and it looks like all the drawings were made in Paint by an unprofessional drawer. But probably the game was made in Paint :). Still...you can have some fun playing it, and discovering the many kinds of actions that the stick man can perform.

Another adventure game with stick man characters is the “Smart stick adventure 2”. It is also a point and click game which will stimulate your intelligence and skills. You must make the stick man perform different actions and make your way across the levels without getting killed. Even it has a very simple graphic, the game is really fun, and just by making some simple clicks you will perform all kinds of cool actions, and make object appear and disappear. You will also get the chance to drive a car, a space shuttle and do many cool things. But if you make the wrong click, you will die. So try to remember which were the wrong actions, and then try again and not do the same mistake again. Have fun!



Another stick man game, with a more advanced and colored graphic is the one called Way of the Exploding Stick. Your objective here is to fight and defeat as many enemies as you can. You will use the arrow keys to move the character around and there are many fighting keys. The S key is for a double punch, the D for a quick jab, the X for a spin kick, the C for a fast kick. You can also perform a triple scissor kick combo by pressing SXS. To throw an opponent when he is close to you, press the V key. Good luck, and beat them all!

There are so many more other stick games all over the internet, but time doesn’t allow us to present them all. So we’ll discuss just one more funny stickman game, and let you discover the rest of them. And of course if you find one that is really interesting, let us know too. Now let’s play the “Stickicide” game. It is quite an interesting game, because the actual goal of the game is to kill you! :) Kill yourself as much as possible before the time runs out. Use the arrow keys to direct your stick man to his death. There are many death methods, and each one will give you points. This is both a crude and a fun game. Move all over the map to find out all of the dying methods. The game is also black and white, but when you will die there will be some blood involved. So the fact that everything is black and white will make the blood to look even better.

We all know that the children can have a lot of fun at school together with their teachers, especially when they are in primary school. There are so many fun games for classrooms, and we are going to present some of them in this article.

Let’s begin with the game called “Action race”. Divide the students into two teams, and place them in line, in one side of the classroom. Place a chair on the other end of the classroom, a chair for each team. Then you (the teacher) should call an action. You can use different actions, such as jump, hop, run, clap and so on. Think of many actions before you start the game, so there will be a different one for each student in the line. If you have a lot of students, you can repeat the actions, but try to randomize them, so the kids won’t get bored. So let’s say you called “jump”. The first student in line should jump to the other end of the classroom (where the chair is) and back. The first student would get a point for his team. Then you can call another action, and the next students will do that action. The team with most of the points is the winner.

Another fun game that you can play with the students  is the “apple pass”.  Place all the students in a circle and give them a fake apple. They must throw the apple from one to another, and when they are throwing it they must say an English word. You can let them say any word they want, or you can limit them to one category (for example animals, food, sports etc). If a child drops the apple, or throws it without saying any word, then he is out. The only student that will remain in the game is the winner.



A good game for higher level kids is the “Backs to the board game”. Make two teams of students, and choose one of each them. Place the two of them in front of the black board facing away from it. Then write a word on the board (or draw a picture). The two students in the front must not see the word, and they must look only in the classroom, at their team. The students in the classroom will have to give clues to him, without saying the actual word. For example if the word is “snow”, they can give clues like “it is cold, it is white, you find it during the winter etc”. If the student in the front guesses the word, he will win a point for his team.



Another fun game for the kids is the “Banana race”. It is mostly a quiz game in which you will ask questions to the kids. You can use questions such as “what fruit is round and red?” “what animal likes to eat honey and climb in trees?” and so on. Or you can simply draw items on the blackboard and they have to guess them. If you have too many students in the class then make some teams, but if you have fewer students, play individually with them. Ask a question to each student / team and if they give the correct answer, they will advance on the race track. Make a race track on the blackboard, and each student is represented by a banana. On each correct answer the  banana of that student will advance one step forward. The first student to get to the finish line is the winner. You can make the questions more difficult as they advance in the game, so the final battle will be among the smartest of them.



You can even play a basketball game in the classroom. Make small balls out of paper, and get a box, or a trashcan. Make a starting point from where the kids must throw the balls. Call each student to that point, and then ask him a question. If he / she gives the correct answer, then he / she has the chance to throw the paper ball at the trashcan (or box). If he hits the basket he gets 2 points, and if he only touches it he gets 1 point. You can play this for an hour or so, and the student with most of the points is the winner. The game will be really fun for them because they get to play some basketball in the classroom, but they can also learn new things by answering the questions. Be sure to gather all the paper balls after the game, because the kids will play with them and throw them at each other and make a lot of mess in the classroom.



Another fun game, that can be played in pairs or teams is the “Blindfold race”. Make an obstacle course in the classroom (by rearranging the chairs and desks), and then put a blindfold on a student. He will have to complete the course without seeing anything, so he will have to rely only on the clues given by his team mates. The clues given by the kids can be like this: walk 2  steps forward, turn right, take just a little step and so on. Be sure that the kids won’t give wrong clues to their teammates, because the kids can get hurt between the chairs and desks from the course.



You can also try the game called “category spin”. First choose a category (for example food, animals etc). Then place the students into a circle and spin a bottle in the middle of them. The student that the bottle will choose must say a word from the chosen category. Then spin the bottle again, and the next kid must say the previous word and add another one after him. The next kid must say the first 2 words and another one, and so on. For example, the first will say “bread”, the next one “bread fish”, the third “bread fish cheese” etc. This game will really stimulate the memory of the kids, and will get more and more difficult as they have many words to say. When a student doesn’t give the correct answer, he will be eliminated, and you can play it until there is only one winner.

Let’s discuss one more fun game for classrooms. For example the “Give me game”. You can use real objects, plastic objects or image cards. Let’s say you are using some plastic fruits. Get as many of them together and then throw them all around the classroom. You can also  throw them into the air, and all the kids will scrabble to pick them up. Once they have collected all the fruits, ask for one of them. For example you can say “give me a cherry”. The kid having that object will have to get to the teacher and give it to him. The student must also say “Here you are”, and this way the will learn to be polite. The child with most of the fruits (or other objects gathered) is the winner.
