I’m sitting here looking at my Christmas tree and aside from that feeling of pride for decorating it myself, I feel like I want to take all the garland and lights and globes out of the tree and redecorate it again and again. I can’t wait to see what present will be under it on the morning of the 25^th.

I discovered an online application that allows me to do just that: redecorate the tree over and over again. It may not be as much fun as the real thing, but it gives you the chance to put up a Christmas tree that you can have all year long without having to take it down.  Gifttreez is the name of this new Facebook application and even if it’s quite simplistic, it has a deeper meaning and it provides a special way of spreading the Christmas spirit.

If you have a Facebook account, browse this application and install it on your profile. Choose the best looking tree out of those 6 which are available and invite you Facebook friends to join. Many of them probably never heard about this application because it’s brand new (thank you, GreenPixel). Let them know about the fun of sharing gifts and decorating Christmas trees just by sitting in front of the computer.

When your friends join you, you can visit their trees and vote for them or send them gift. When you vote for a tree, you receive 1 points and the friend you have voted will also receive 2 points. The next best thing is putting up Christmas decorations into their tree. Just click the second option which is available underneath the tree and a new small window will appear which provides a list of possible decorations that you have to put in the tree.  Along with the gift you are supposed to write a message, which can be Christmas cheer or a special thought (you can even tell some long distance friends that you miss them) and then send the message.

For every such action you get 10 points and the person that receives your gift along with the special message, you receive 5 points. They can read the message on their Gifttreez profile. When you receive gifts, they will appear in your tree and if you move your cursor on a gift (you don’t have to click it) you can see who sent you the gift and what they wrote for you.

When you have 750 points you can exchange your current tree which is small with a medium one or even with the big sized one if you have 1500 points to spend. We know that to many of you this application may sound pretty basic and boring but it is a special and different way of wishing happy holidays to your online friends. We welcome this application on our Facebook profile to show the other that Christmas spirit can also be spread around the internet and, besides, it’s much easier that sending our Christmas postcards.

Whenever you want to have some fun on your computer, you can play a video game. Iron Man is a fictional superhero that appears in the comic books of Marvel Comics. Some other famous characters from Marvel Comics are Captain America, Spider Man, Hulk, The Fantastic Four, Wolverine, The Silver Surfer and others. The Iron Man character first appeared a long time ago, in 1963, and was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck and Jack Kirby. The character Iron Man is actually a guy called Anthony Edward Stark, and he is a genius engineer which is captured by some bad guys, and they want to force him to build a massively destructive weapon for them. But instead of making this weapon, Anthony decides to create a powered suit of armor to save his life and escape from the captors. After he escapes he decides to use this armor to fight crimes and save innocent people. So this is how Iron Man appears. His armor is loaded with many advanced technologies and allows him to easily destroy and kill the enemies.

There were many games made after the comic books with this character, and there was even made a movie with Iron Man. But today we are going to discuss about some of the Iron Man free online games.

The dress-up games are mostly for girls, but some people decided to make a dress-up games for boys too. So they made the “ron Man dress up” game. The game is pretty simple. In the left side of the screen you will have a naked guy (which is probably Anthony Stark), and in the right side you will have many cool looking armors. All you have to do is drag the desired pieces of armor (for legs, arms, torso or head) and place them on the human body. You can take all the armor parts from one of the robots, but you can also combine them to make a more interesting armor. You will find armors in different colors, and with different weapons or accessories. Unfortunately this game doesn’t have an option to save your picture, so if you really like the way you made the Iron Man armor, you can make a print screen of it :).



Another game with the famous Iron man character is the “Iron Man flight test”. This game has 10 levels and your final goal will be to defend Gigantimo. But until you get to him you will have to fly high into the sky and destroy all the enemies along the way.  For this you must use the arrow keys (or W, A, S, D) to control the hero, the left mouse button to fire pulse beam ( hold it down to power up the beam) and the space bar to fire uni beam.  To target on an enemy, move the mouse around. The game looks pretty nice, and you will enjoy flying and shooting enemies with Iron Man.



Another cool Iron man game is the “Iron Man Mark 3 suit test”. The game begins with images from the Iron Man game, but if you already seen the movie, you can skip them. Otherwise watch them because they are cool. The instructions of the game are pretty simple: click and then drag the indicator A along the path shown and get to the B point. You have to be really careful and follow the path exactly. Complete 4 sections to proceed to the testing phase. First there will be just a simple straight line, and then the paths will become more and more difficult. For each path that you complete, there will be a piece of armor placed on Iron Man’s body. This game will really test your mouse ability, and it can be really fun. Don’t worry because you don’t get the path right from the first attempt, because you will have other attempts too. But hurry because time is ticking away!



Another game with Iron Man, that can be found on the marvelkids.marvel.com site is “Iron Man Armored popper”. In this one you will have to use his repulsor beams to knock down enemies and clear each stage. You will gain new powers as you defeat all the enemies (such as Madame Masque, Whiplash, Mandarin and others).  You will first see a pretty nice introduction video. In the game you must use the mouse to aim and shoot. Make matches of three or more to clear them from the stage, and clear the stage before it fills up. Just move the mouse where you want to shoot, and click it. You must throw a face next to another of the same type, and if there are many of them, they will disappear from the screen. Good luck!



Unfortunately we didn’t find other free online games with Iron Man, and the other games with this character are more complex games, for PC or Play Station. So if you know some other simple, online games with this famous character, just let us know!

Each time you are working hard at your job, you need to take a break from time to time. You can do many things in this 5-10 minutes break, for example you can go outside for some fresh air, or smoke a cigarette (if you are a smoker), or have a snack but you can also enjoy this break from your computer, without having to go anywhere. And how can you relax and forget about work better than by playing a game? So just go on the internet and search for a free online game. This means they will have a simple graphic, simple controls and will take just a few minutes to complete…about 5 or 10, exactly how long it takes for you to have a break. Now let’s discuss some of the games from this site. Since winter is here and Christmas is close, let’s begin with the game called “Down hill chill”. It is a fun winter game and your goal is to try and stay in the track and gain speed. Race to the finish line for the fastest time, and then compare your score with your friends. There are three tracks to choose from: Pipe, Alpine or City. You will have to use just the left and right arrow keys to steer the sledge and the down arrow key to break when you are going too fast. The graphic of the game is pretty cool, and also the game sensation is realistic. As you gain speed it will be harder to control the sledge, so be careful to not flip around. The sledge will be placed back automatically on the track, but you will loose a lot of time. Whenever you want to exit the game or to change the track, press the Esc key. Have fun!



Now let’s play a Christmas game too. We are going to choose the game called “Santa’s gift jump”. Here you will have to catch the falling Christmas presents by skating on the ice. Jump up (by clicking once) to catch the gifts form the air and double click to jump really high. Move the mouse left and right to control the skating Santa and jump to catch the gifts. You can also get a gift while standing on the ice, but you will gain more points if you jump and catch it in the air. Be careful because the gift should fall exactly in the hand of Santa. If you catch it with your head, Santa will be knocked down and he will loose health. This game can be fun for both kids and adults, especially in the period before Christmas.



Now let’s choose a different type of game, for example the “Phantom mansion, spectrum of souls”. In this one you will have to guide Hector around the rooms and avoid the skeletons and zombies. You will have to use the arrow keys to move him around. Collect all the souls to  open the exit, and use keys to open locked doors. Also push boxes into the void to bridge gaps. Stand on switches to make things happen and avoid all the monsters. If you need any help, walk up to the scrolls. The graphic of the game is pretty simple, but there will be many rooms to check out, so you won’t get bored. Also the sounds from the game are pretty nice and scary, so to have the best feeling, play this game at night, with your light turned off :).



Let’s play a racing game now, for example the “Jet ski racing”. It is an unusual racing game, where you will have to make air tricks and race to win, with your jet ski. Use the arrows to steer and the Z, X and C keys to make tricks. Also avoid obstacles and collect coins for a bigger score. You will have 4 riders to choose from, and each looks pretty cool. The graphic of the game looks nice, but sometimes you will find your self submerged into the waves, and this doesn’t look that nice. But the tricks are cool, the ski jets also, so this can be a fun game for the ski jet lovers.



Let’s present one more game, and we are going to choose the Ping pong game. In reality the ping pong is a really fun game, so let’s see if the online version of this sport is fun too. Well this is not an actual ping pong match, and there will be just you, your paddle and the ball. Your goal is to try and bounce the ball as many times as possible. You might think that this is a simple, but you will find out that it’s not so easy. First click on the screen to drop the ball, and then just move the mouse button where the ball drops, to make it bounce again. But be very careful because the ball is really sensitive to each of your moves. So if you not placed the paddle in the best spot, the ball will easily bounce further away, and you wont’ be able to catch it anymore. You can’t move your character, so the area covered is just as far as he can extend his hand.
