Developed by Rainbow Studios, the software house producers that brought you MX vs. ATV series, “Cars” game puts more emphasis on the idea of being a quality product. This idea is not too common met in products in the last period, and that's about what is wanted by gamers lately. Although the final product has longer to reach all expectations, is still well above the normal average, providing a solid game experience and taking over pretty well elements from the movie Cars.

Initially was thought that the Rainbow Studios will make the game in their own way, but the franchise has come to please not only the producers but also consumers, providing a dose of entertainment as it rarely occurs in this genre. In making the game, the producing Rainbow Studios focused largely on the game's Story mode, which contains most of the gameplay, with a recreated version of Radiator Springs, where all the action of the game takes place. Starting from this city, players will be able to interact with many characters from the movie Cars, accept challenges and races to advance in the game, with the ultimate goal, of course, of winning as many races in the event "Piston Cup", which is actually the NASCAR reprint version in the film and game.

The game's story seeks to remove the linearity, despite the presentation scenes that are adapted and made ?? in accordance with the film. Of course that driving remains the main element in Cars even if there is a huge world to explore and a lot of events you can participate. The gameplay is based on simple control methods, focusing primarily on acceleration, braking and controlled slippages, putting gamers often in difficulty, challenging them this way. As a bonus items you can jump off the ground and you have at hand and some special moves, the sense of speed being well noted and the successful drifts will definitely give you a sense of satisfaction, because they are quite difficult. The main challenge remains the controlled slippages, which are quite difficult. You cannot stay in drift when the car brakes and the real challenge lie in controlling the direction of the vehicle at high speed. Definitely is worth mentioning also the design elements of the game, which mimics the movie props and scenery. The environment is not too permissive, however, because many of the objects or obstacles you will encounter will suddenly stop you. When will you be during a race and you will leave the road it will appear an icon that says that you went astray. If you continue to stay out of the path, you will either be redirected to enter it again or you will be reset and also brought back to race with other cars.

As you will advance in the game, you will unlock more bonuses for the car, such as supplements speed and also will have the opportunity you to unlock the following races and routes. There is also a series of mini- game events that are very entertaining. Among these there are the obstacle races in a militarized background and where you need to be focused on speed and sideways a lot. This is a very funny yet serious and challenging game, recommended for racing games enthusiasts.
