Games are a way of relaxing. This is the main purpose of any game. Whether you are a child or a grown up, everybody wants to have some fun and forget sometimes about the problems they have. We all try to make our life better, with little stress and be happy every day because life is short and we want to live it in full.

I don’t know if we all the differences between games. Some people like a type of game and others prefer something else. No matter what the game is the important thing is that we have fun.

Nowadays almost everyone has a computer and a connection to the internet. If we search the web we can find many games, some for kids and others for grown ups. So, we can say that today it is easy to play a game. You don’t have to go to a store and buy a game and you don’t have to leave the house. Some people might say that children don’t know what fun really is.

They stay on the computer for hours and they play different games online. Not all of these games are that educational. The purpose of games is to make you think besides the fact of having fun. They should be able to turn on your imagination they should be a source of inspiration for all of us. That is why some people don’t agree with the fact that children don’t go outside to play. They stay indoors and the only thing they do is click the mouse. This is the type of fun they have every day.

After they come from school the thing they are interested in the most is the computer. I don’t think that there is someone who doesn’t play online games. It is very simple. You just search the web and you can find everything you need. This is not entirely true. How can a child develop communication skills or how do these games help him develop as a grown man? Inside the house you don’t breath the air, you don’t get to choose with who you play with and you don’t talk to anyone. You just click the mouse and you have fun.



Parents agree with the idea that their kids stay indoors. They like it because they say that this keeps them from troubles. Outside the house there are things that can happen to their kids. For example, they go too far from home, they don’t know who they are playing with, they can’t stay in touch all the time, they can hurt themselves playing different games if there is no one to watch them. So, hidden in a room is better than staying outside where you can get into a fight because you break the rules of a game or worse, you can even be hit by a car if you play in dangerous areas.

Most of the grown ups didn’t have computers when they grew up. And they turned to be very good people with lots of friends and I believe they had more fun than kids these days. Even if they argued about stuff and they got mad that someone didn’t want to come out and play, the next day they were still friends. If you stay only inside the house you won’t really have that many friends. The online friends aren’t really as close as you think they are. If they get upset with you it is very simple for them to find someone else to play with and so can you.

When we say funny games we don’t really know what we are talking about. And I say this because everyone has different taste in games. While some people prefer action games, others prefer strategy and so on. Anyway, a fun game is a game that relaxes us, that makes us forget things, things that bother us or make us sad. So, no mater what category of game you prefer the important thing is that it makes you laugh and have a good time.

Some people prefer online games. It is easy to find a game if you have a computer and a connection to the Internet. Of course, you must know the basis of using a computer. You search online and you can find any type of games you want. If you search for funny games online it is very possible that you find not only what you want but more. Some games are parodies from movies; others mock the personalities from politics or movies.

So, if you like seeing drunken people, if you want your revenge on someone important, if you want to see wasted actors or politicians, the internet is the best way to have fun. Of course, these games are for different ages. The funny thing is what happens when a child finds some games that are for grown ups. They don’t really understand what the point of playing those games is but they play them anyway. And more funny is when their parents find out that their kids played games online they weren’t supposed to. Anyway, the important thing is for you to have fun when you play a game online.



Other people prefer games that are not played inside the house. They believe that what makes a game more fun is the fact that it is played outside. Here you can connect with others and you can socialize. This is a face to face game and it is more fun when you see someone’s look when they lose in your favor.

They say it’s more fun to see someone mad, angry or disappointed. If you play an online game and you win there is no satisfaction. Only that you won and that is it. If you play against someone and you win is the same thing. You can’t see the look on his face and sometimes it can be priceless. So, where is the fun in playing an online game?

Everyone is entitled to his opinion and anyone can choose his way of having fun. The most important thing is that you really have fun. So, if you want really funny games you should know first what your idea of fun is. Then, if you really want to have some fun you should find someone to play with because if you play a game alone is very possible to not have fun at all even though the game could be really funny.

The routs of fun and games are older than culture itself. The game is seen as a complex phenomenon which can be defined in many ways. So, if we can refer to a game as the pleasure to do an activity, especially for the kids. Or, we can say that games are an artificial practice of energies.

Games can be classified in many categories. First of all, there are intellectual games. Also there are physical games. All these are differentiated by age, sex and culture. If we classify them by age there are games for children and for grown ups. Games can be very competitive, for show or very risky. If we refer to culture there are science games and philosophy games.

Every game has a special feature. It tries to make you think, to make you have fun or to make be creative. It is a free action outside the usual life and that can absorb you. There is no special interest when you play a game and there are no losers. But, there are rules that can’t be broken. Every game has rules. If it didn’t how can we tell where to start or where to finish?



The end of a game depends on its type. It can mean an exhibition; it brings out someone’s qualities, it means the sharing of feelings, the escape to an unreal world, only fun, a development of thinking or imagination. Unfortunately, some games don’t have a happy ending; there are times when someone gets hurt. But this isn’t intentionally. The point is kids know the rules and they try to obey them but sometimes things get a little out of hand.
There is a story that says that a teacher watched a movie with his students. After that, he said that he will let the pupils play a game online on the computer for a while. The game was at their choice. They were in a laboratory and the kids were a little bored with the games installed by the professor so they started searching for games online. One of them found a very interesting game and told the others.

The teacher heard about it and he said he didn’t really know that many things of it. When he got home he remembered about the game and he searched it online too. He was one of the people who said that games aren’t that much fun. He was very surprised when he saw that he couldn’t take his eyes of the game.

In conclusion, games are very old. Long before there were books, stores or internet there were games. It doesn’t matter if you are young or old, they make us feel good; sometimes when we play games we even forget about our daily problems and life seems better.
