I’m very skeptic when it comes to games, doesn’t matter what kinds of games, but the fact is that when I try those which are recommended to me I mostly like tem. Some time ago I played Diner Dash which is a very simple game, it seems silly (and it is silly), but it is very catchy.

The basic plot of the game (because most games today have a plot especially strategy games) is simple; there is Flo the waitress who has to clean up tables, to take orders, to place the order, to serve the food and to collect money. If you want tips and extra points you will have to be very fast and to pay attention to costumers by serving them coffee or some cold beverages. I told you, the game seems silly at a first glance. Like in the case of every other game, this one too has levels; so you will have to help Flo to transform her diner into a well respected sort of restaurant. The clients will begin to feel more and more impatient; therefore, you will have to make Flo to move really fast if she wants any tips.

The game is not that pricey either, it costs about $6.99 and it can be played on your computer desktop and laptop, on your iPhone and so on. If you want a taste of this game you can find it here and you can take it for a test drive, but be careful because it will get you hooked. There are other most recent versions of this game like: Diner Dash 2 Restaurant Rescue, Diner Dash Flo on the Go, Diner Dash: Hometown Hero, Diner Dash: Seasonal Snack Pack, Diner Dash: Flo through Time, Diner Dash 5 Boom and Diner Dash 5: Boom Collector’s Edition.

Another fun to play and catchy game is Airport Mania. The graphics are well though and the plains are so cute that you want them as pets. This game has various levels which are not that hard to finish. The basic line of the game is the following: you have to fuel up the plains and prepare their way for landing; and while you do this you will be walked through 8 airports which are the levels of the game. You also can upgrade your airports in order for your planes to be fuelled and fixed faster.

There are tons of PC games out there. Also, there are many, many free PC games, but there are so few that are actually worth playing. I’ve been searching for some free good entertainment on the web, excluding the online flash games and such. Here is what I’ve come up with.

The first one, and I think one of the most impressive, is Alien Swarm, released by some game designers at Valve. The idea is simple, but addictive: you and four other friends have to put yourselves in the skins of marines and cooperate to destroy an alien infestation somewhere underground. You have to use your wits and take full advantage of teamwork and weapons. This game is available on Steam free of charge and it’s certainly worth downloading.

I’m sure everybody’s heard by now about the second title: Minecraft. Actually, only Minecraft Classic is free. For those who just tuned in, Minecraft is a very original game giving you endless possibilities. The action takes place in a very square 3D world, where you have to survive the ruthless night, when zombies come out and play. For this, you have to build yourself a shelter and gather resources. As you advance, you have many things that you can build, from boats to complex circuits and railroad systems. The free version gives you unlimited resources. The paid version is not that expensive and it’s certainly worth a try, too. Last but not least, the third position is occupied by what I think is already known: Trackmania Nations Forever. This is a free arcade racing game. In the freeware version, you choose a car and race around a track, trying to get the best time as possible. You compete online with users from all around the world.

It has really nice graphics and interesting gameplay, but it only gets the third place because it didn’t seem that addictive to me. But that depends in the person playing. This concludes my top three PC games list. I’m sure that we will see many more free PC games in the future. Let’s hope their just as good as or better than these.

Whether in search for a few minutes of fun during those long hours in school, or you’re just looking for some games that don’t require too much fuss to install, flash games are a very fun and quick solution to your problems.

I’m going to tell you about my personal top three flash games at the moment. Of course, this classification changes in time for me, as I discover new flash games or rediscover old flash friends.

Occupying the number three position in my book is the hot new sensation Angry Birds. For those who don’t really know what this game is about, the idea is simple and found in everyday life… more or less. Some pigs stole some wingless birds’ eggs, and now these birds are really annoyed. You could even say that they are angry. Thus, they decide to manufacture a giant slingshot and throw themselves into the castles where the pigs live in. It’s a Crush the Castle sort of game, to be concise. Second place is occupied by a survival type of game, called The Last Stand. There is also a The Last Stand 2, but the idea is similar: you are one of the lucky survivors in a zombie filled world and during the night, these creatures attack your barricades. During the day, you must use your time wisely to repair your weapons, buy new ones and search for survivors. It may seem like a simple idea, but it’s a really addictive game. Or, maybe I’m just a sucker for shooting zombies.

First place is occupied by a game inspired by that “Kids Next Door” cartoon. The idea behind this game is simple and addictive: for some reason, some hamsters wanted to fly a really long distance; so, five furry volunteers line up and, with the help of three other such rodents they launch into the sky and try to stay there as long as possible by picking up hamster balls to bounce them off the ground, rockets to speed them up and other thingamagigs.
