Nowadays there are two major rivals in this field: EA Sports’ FIFA Soccer and Konami’ Pro Evolution Soccer. This sort of training disappeared since PES 6, this title being the last that had it. Me and a couple of friends used to gather around and play championships and every two players played home and away, so the loser of one match could prove that he had bad luck in the first leg and qualify by winning in the second match.

Still, PES 2011 revolutionized the Pro Evo passing system, introducing the power gauges for them. Also, the camera viewing angle is changed, as a more TV like camera is employed, which also gives greater visibility. It may take a little time to get adjusted to it, but it’s really useful.
