In the end, you have to reach a hold in which the main character should fit perfectly. Once you make some progress, levels get harder and harder. And a good challenge is the base of an addictive flash game.



Another game that is highly addictive is the Helicopter game. The idea is so simple that I’m kicking myself for not thinking of it first: you control a helicopter in a bi-dimensional world and you have to avoid the obstacles that come in your way. The controls are simple: just one mouse button. All you have to do is know how and when to push this button so you make the engine go faster, which makes the helicopter fly higher. It may sound simple, but it really gets tricky.

One of the most unexplainable addictions that I ever had to a Flash game is the Winterbells game from orisinal.com. It really gets you hooked with its soothing music and smooth graphics. Again, the idea is really simple. You are a bunny rabbit. And as any other bunny rabbit you have to hop. The game takes place somewhere in winter. So you have to jump on bells that fall from the sky. Now what kind of an addicting games review would this be without including the Desktop Tower Defense game. I think everybody is familiar with this one: you have to protect tour desk against incoming swarms of enemy creeps. The more you advance, the harder it becomes, but your towers will become more powerful.

One thing that really bugged me when I first saw this game is that it was too short. You have three assignments. The last one is a surprise, I’m going to let you find out on your own.



The second installment comes a little bit closer to the action in the third and last one and has far more realistic pictures. It’s not recommended for children under 17 as it contains alcohol references and real, explicit, medical methods, which might seem disturbing for some. If you had the curiosity to play through the first one, I’m sure the second game of the series will be even more enjoyable. It’s much more complex and the more realistic pictures really do their job.

The third game has a more futuristic approach, but it’s somehow similar to the second one. You are now in the future and are transported throughout time so you can save people who, without the help of your technology, would not live any longer.

Some people may say that this is not a fun game. For me, a fun game is a challenging game. This game is very good in this aspect, because it forces you to focus on the task at hand and do it right in the right time, without being distracted by your surroundings. I recommend this game to the mature audience reading this article.
