Hannah Montana is an American television series that made its entrance on stage on the 24^th of March, 2006 on Disney Channel. In Romania, it started two years later on TVR 1 channel and is currently dubbed on Jetix.

The serial concerns a young teenager called Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus), who took up a double life: during the day she is a normal student, with troubles and happy teenage moments, but when night comes, she transfigures herself into Hannah Montana, the pop singer, by putting a blonde wig on the head. She tries to keep her true identity hidden from her fans and the only ones who really know who she is are her family and close friends. Although Jetix became Disney Channel, Hannah Montana's adventure continue.

Hannah Montana aka Miley Cyrus has become every teenager's idol: she is a thirteen year-old pretty girl who is cool and, more, she has a secret life as a star idolatrized by thousands of children. And she still remains modest.

After only three seasons, being so great, the online game industry went nuts and started posting more and more games with her. There is Hannah Montana Dress Up, Makeover, Hannah Treasure Hunt, the Double Life of Hannah, Hannah Montana Trivia and so on and so on. Jumping over the well known dress up and make up games, I admit I was curious to see what Hannah Montana Treasure Hunt is all about. Could a normal teenager which is a pop star by night have time for treasure hunting, too?

As I thought and hoped, Hannah does not have time for anything else. The main character in this game is actually Oliver who found a metal detector during a dug up in the attic. The only problem seems to be Ricco's RC plane who will dive attack Oliver. Quote: "Yikes!"

At Disney Channel official site , the games' graphic is much better, no doubt about it, although the loading time feels like forever. There are fourteen Hannah Montana online games here, and I picked up "Have what it takes to be a rock star?" quiz, mainly to prove my parents wrong. My "rockin' 'n' rollin' " side of me was satisfied: I do belong in a Teen Pop Group! Therefore, I would like to ask those of you who have taken the test and got the same result as I did to contact me.

Already content, I thought I should help the teenage star dance her way into the top of the charts using the "Rock the Beat" game. The Disney Sing It is a karaoke game and it comes after High School Musical: Sing It!, based on the television movie with the same name produced by the Disney Channel as well.

These funny online games are a good way of becoming "a new Hannah Montana" if you like her enough. If not, at least you had some fun with cute simple games and quizzes concerning the new idol of girls all around the world! I am a bit scared, though, because according to a research made by Centrul Educatia 2000+, the Romanian pupils have chose their path in life: the boys want to be as Gigi Becali and the girls dream of their own stage, as Hannah Montana, because she is a teenager, she sings and she is ok, as confessed by the girls. Having these models in life, the children started learning less, somewhere between 5 minutes and 2- 3 hours per day. Maybe someone should write between the lines that this is one of their first lessons in life: not always the stars who took over the TV screen are as clever as they say, thus they can not always take credit for what they are, now.

Nickelodeon is an American cable television channel owned by Viacom. It was launched in December 1, 1977 as "Pinwheel" and it stayed that way until 1981. Under the logo "The first network for kids", Pinwheel was raised the bid as Nickelodeon. The original logo was represented by a silver pinball with Nickelodeon title in front in multicolor, but it was changed afterwards changed with the "orange splat" logo during a financier issue. And that’s not all, there are 16 more games on this subject.

Furthermore, the games are split into categories: Spongebob Squarepants games, The Penguins of Madagascar games, ¡Carly games, Action games, Adventure Games, Puzzle games, Racing games, Spor games, Nick Arcade games, Addictive games, Neopets games, Shockwave games… Games you could just imagine they exist, games you never thought of. There’s everything for every children in every corner of the Universe. The internet page itself is a little Universe of its own!


It seems that at the top of the funny games lies SpongeBob SquarePants and his Cavity Crisis. With the description “Who knew brushing a Sponge’s teeth is FUN”, I started making my way through the mud. I must admit the game scared me a lot, making me older by minute, instead of making me feel like a child again. The game consisted in washing SpongeBob's mouth. So, we have a huge mouth in front of us, without any SpongeBob, and a toothbrush. We must take care that the teeth don't turn to yellow, fall or being attacked by candies with the help of that tool. While I had been washing its teeth, i felt anxious and anxious, because they just kept getting yellow and, at one point, I started chasing the evil candies away with the help of my magical toothbrush. I understood that I'm old enough to stop playing that game, but I wanted to see how that mouth looked if every teeth would have fallen. Fortunately, once it reached almost 7 yellow teeth and a fallen one, the game shut itself down. I don't know what parents would let their children play something like that, because the only thing I see there is learning through fear. And that does not sound like a happy childhood to me, but rather as a polity. Anyway, that is not my idea of fun!

Leaving aside the violent games with monsters and curses (aka the curse of PCA, where you have to help Chase rescue Zoe from a "marauding" ghost), I found a game about pollution solutions - The Penguins of Madagascar, a strategy game. There are four penguins who have to make it to a factory and destroy it, because it is a major polluter and the smoke is ruining sergeant's skin. The game is quite funny, each penguin has its own part in the story, and you have to figure it out. From what I could see, private is the most helpless one, he can not jump, he must be pushed under pylons and he is even used as a shield against a robot's gun.

All in all, there are indeed games for everyone to like, funny ones, on Nickelodeon. Finding it is like finding a friend: you have got to search a little, but you know that, eventually, you will find him!

A short story of manga and anime industry

Manga is a comic book initially made by a fusion of traditional woodblock (ukiyo-e) printing and Western art. It took the current form shortly after World War II,  influencing the television and thus creating the anime. In 1958, studio Toei screened the first anime feature film, "The Tale of the White Serpent", which marked the beginning of the animation industry. Then, in 1962, the first anime TV show was screened by studio Otogi. It concerned historical cartoons in black and white. One year after that, Osamu Tezuka, "The God of Manga" has founded the Mushi productions and released his first anime series, "Tetsuwan Atom". This was the start of an anime boom, that occurred in 1963. Between1987-1992, The wings of Honneamise was released, making anime officially an art form. This kind of animation became popular in the entire world. From here to video games it was just a small step.

Naruto, the cursed boy

Naruto Uzumaki is the main character of Naruto Series. He's the first character to be created by Kishimoto during the initial conceptions of the series, being designed to have a whole lot of features of other shonen creations, including Son Goku of "Dragon Ball Z". Naruto is a ninja affiliated with the Konoha village, dreaming of becoming a Hokage, or the leader of the village. Due to the fact that the Nine Tales Fox is being trapped in his body, he's being ostracized by the other villagers. He makes up to this with the help of his personality and, during the series, he manages to make friends among other ninjas from his village and other ones, as well. He has a very strong bondage with his ninja colleague, Sasuke Uchiha, treating him like a brother.

Because this anime presents a story of a young boy who wishes to be the best ninja, the online Naruto games focus on this detail. They try to catch the player's attention by putting him to make the same exercises Naruto and his team used to do in the beginning, like climbing a tree, to see how great their "Chakra" is , guessing which one is the real ninja Zabuza from the Village of the Hidden Mist, among him and his clones or even escorting Tazuna safely to his home in the Land of Waves.



Of course, there are a lot  of Naruto online games which involve the dodging of the knives, to test the team's abilities, and even fighting, but I've also found a... dressing up Naruto game! Although the game is loading pretty hard, the amusement of seeing Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke as little children and having to dress them up is great. Plus, if you wait long enough, the three characters start showing their special powers: Sakura shows her other personality, Naruto - his power of controlling the Nine Tales Fox and Sasuke, his Sharingan eye and his curse.

Needless to say, the dating online games couldn't miss from here! For example, there's Sakura, the girl Naruto has a crush on, and she must train herself to be more charming and brainy. That's why you have to take her to study, to increase her "Chakra", to buy flowers, for increasing her charm, to complete quests, etc. She can also have small discussions with Naruto, Sasuke or Lee, the guy with one eyebrow. According to her answers, she can either flirt or upset them. If she has trained long enough, she can fight one of the three guys or go on a date with the person whom she very cordially spoke  to.

The Naruto online games are designed  in flash, thus they don't catch the eye by design. They're basically designed to be played by fans who either don't care about the looks, are just nostalgic or really want to take Naruto on a date with Sakura!
