Mass Effect Cheats

Did you manage to grab Mass Effect yet? To my eternal shame, I haven't. Even worse, although I am crazy about games involving Bioware, I also missed Neverwinter Nights 2. Oh, well, you can't always get what you want, so let's stick to what we need. If you are already playing this great game, there are some chances you're looking for cheats, so I thought it would be a good idea to give you a hand...

First of all, a disclaimer - I am not going to be held responsible if using one of these cheats is going to ruin your game experience, your social life, or you'll end up being abducted by aliens, once you put them in place! If you ask me, a game that can't be finished without cheats makes me think about a game that is not worth playing, or maybe you need more practice...

Now - be sure to keep a backup of your game files, because these cheats involve editing of the game files. Ready or not, here we go...

1. Navigate to the game folder, then open the "config" folder.

2. Send "BIOInput" to your favorite text editor, go to the line called "Engine.Console," and right below it make a new line which says: "ConsoleKey=Tilde"(no quotation marks in the file).

3. Save the BIOInput file and close your text editor.

4. Open the game, hit ~, and then enter one of the following:

fly - Supermaaaaaaaaaaan!
giveall - get all gear in the game, save armor
giveallarmor - get all armor
giveallbioamps - get all bio amps<-125x125 Button - right->
giveallomnitools - gives you all omni tools
givetalentpoints X - get "X" talent points, where "X" is an integer value
givexp X - receive "X" experience points, as above
ghost - walk through walls
setparagon X - get "X" Paragon points
setrenegade X - get "X" Renegade points
walk - no more Superman mode...I mean, enough flying, start walking!

While I hate "give all" and "god mode" cheats, flying and going through walls are things you should try! Just be sure to store the config file in a safe place...

Gta 4 Tips and Tricks

With over 3.6 million copies sold in its first day, Grand Theft Auto IV is the greatest game in the Grand Theft Auto series, there's no doubt about that, but it has one major issue for a lot of those GTA fans that had no game console - being only available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, this game forces PC users to buy a console...or wait. For how long, that remains to be seen, but I can only hope we'll get a PC version too, one day. Anyway, considering the above, there must be over 4 million GTA IV players already, and most of them still looking for tips and tricks to make their lives in Liberty City much easier...

GTA IV

<-180x150 Small Rectangle - left->Niko Bellic, your character, has just landed in America, and things aren't going as well as expected. To survive, you need to be careful, because you're not Superman, so you'll need the following GTA IV tips to get out clean...

1. Always crouch while shooting! Crouching helps you aim better, but you should also be careful to fire only short bursts, because you lose accuracy if you just hold down the trigger. This is not Rambo! ;)

2. First think, then steal a car! This may be called Grand Theft Auto, but you shouldn't simply steal every car you see. Why? First, you should avoid being detected by the cops, and you should also give priority to stealing parked or abandoned cars, because you don't risk to commit any other crime in the process. Just think about the real life - it's always easier to break a window and hotwire a car than killing or injuring the driver to get his car!

3. Watch your health! Since Niko doesn't heal himself, you have to go get some food to heal him after each violent encounter.

4. Use armour as soon as it becomes available! Your character may not be Robocop, but since you can use armour, be sure to do it.

5. Be sure to have enough weapons and ammo all the time! "Fight fire with fire," that should say it all. You're not Bruce Lee, so if you get into a big fight, you need more than just armour and health to get out alive.

6. Take care of your friends - so be sure to nurture your relationships. For example, Little Jacob can drive a car filled with weapons for you to buy to your location, Roman will provide you a free cab ride anytime you call him, and Dwayne gives you a pair of gangsters to help you every time you need!

7. Don't rush into missions, so be sure to take your time to explore Liberty City. There are a lot of hidden treasures waiting to be discovered...

8. Avoid cops! Don't forget you're playing as a criminal, and not a respectable citizen, so be sure to avoid getting into trouble, especially when you haven't saved in a while and you're involved in a mission.

GTA IV Cops

9. Death is glory! If you are being arrested, you'll lose your arsenal. If you get killed, you will only lose some cash, but keep your weapons!

10. Save, save, save! Don't forget to save as often as possible. That's something you should remember with most games, but it's incredible how often we forget about it...

These are today's 10 GTA IV tips, and this is only the beginning, so be sure to get back to us tomorrow, or simply subscribe to our news by email. Good bye for now, and stay safe!
