Do you have a favorite number puzzle game? It seems that everyone is playing some form of these kind of games. It can be Sudoku, Hitori or Kakuro, and it it a pleasant and intelligent way to spend free time. They are so popular now, that it seems that they have conquered many people.

Since 2004, Sudoku started to be popular, and it appeared in UK in "The Times", alongside the regular Crossword, another mind exercising game. Sudoku is sometimes spelled su Doku and it is known in the States as the "Number Place". The goal of playing Sudoku is to enter numerical digits, from 1 to 9 inclusive in each square of a 9x9 grid, composed of smaller 3x3 sub grids. There are some digits pre entered in few cells, and like they are often called "givens".

Each row and column in every 3x3 small grid must contain only one instant of every digit and completion of the game shows your patience and logical ability. This game became popular in 1986 and it achieved a great international popularity in 2005.

Kakuro is another number puzzle game which is often reffered as Sums Kakuro, and in Japan Kakro, and its popularity is growing day by day. Both games, Kakro and Sudoku can be named mathematical crosswords and they became popular in the UK through "The Guardian". Kakro is made up of a playing area with black and white squares, like a crossword, and some of the filled cells have a slash through them from the top left to the bottom right, which are "the clues". The goal is to insert numbers in the blank cells so that they total the numbers contained in the clue squares. Just like in Sudoku, digits can't be repeated and though it sounds simple, it is quite using your brain and becomes addictive.

Hitori is grid based number puzzle game from Japan, somehow different to Sudoku and Kakro. At a first glance it might seem easier than the first two presented games, but more and more people find it as being equally challenging. Hitori starts the puzzle with a full grid of digits. The aim is to colour the numbers in the grid, and the rules are quite simple.

No number can appear more than once in a row or column. So if you have a digit three times in the same row, you should know that the other two instances of the digit should disappear. The coloured cells cannot be next to another cell; this means that a coloured cell can touch only another black cell on the diagonal side, and the white cells must be continous and not separated by black cells.

All these three number puzzle games are a very intelligent and pleasant way to spend your free time, and next to having fun, you can train you mathematical skills in the same time.

It`s 2009 and probably most of you, if not all of you have a pc or a laptop. Not that you should have, but today it`s a must be, at least in the city areas. When I was a child times weren’t like this, we used to play all kind of silly fun games, but outdoor, not indoor like today, when I child is spending half of his day in front of the computer.

Don`t misunderstand me, I am not saying it`s wrong, it`s an interactive fun way of spending your time, but not all day. Nowadays you can find all kinds of games, shooters or strategy on the internet, and kid's strategy pc games had an up-flow in the past years. Today, pc games producers had expanded their point of view and they create each day new and new products. For example, most of you play online games, with no money, no installation kit, for free.

Kid`s strategy pc games are made for different classes of age, starting from 2 years, your kid can play all kind of games, but the kid`s strategy pc games  are made not only to fructify and transform your child into a war commander, but to help his mind understand some logical and natural features, by playing a game. Don`t get me wrong, I am not encouraging this manner of how to raise your child, taking into consideration that we used to play Mario bros, and he was the bomb, but also the only game, but it seems that children today are having fun on their own, not playing with other ones, but instead in front of the monitor all day and playing strategy pc games.

I think that for kids between 2 and 11 years, these kid`s strategy pc games aren`t so bad, if they are played in a decent form, not all day long, cause the problem with us humans is that we don`t have measure, we don`t know when to stop, and this thing comes from our early childhood, but with a helpful adult hand, they can play their games like 2 hours a day, they can go outside and play with other children, this way they won`t have a hunchback, for the simple reason that they spend their whole day with their eyes and minds pointed into the computer. Kid`s strategy pc games not only that will sway, but they will evolve as much as they can, till saturation.

Who doesn`t like to play? That`s a good question, taking into consideration that all of us were children, and many still are, what could possible entertain a child or a grownup child better than a pc game. Let`s take a road trip back in time, almost two decades  and ask ourselves a question: how did people managed not to get bored without pc games?

Well, pc games exist for quite some years, but in the past recent time, there has been an “explosion” on the internet of free pc download games. Why is that? Is it because people don`t like to buy games from stores anymore? Is it because people don`t have money to buy licensed ones? No, I`ll tell you why: because today, people have a strange and without threat disease named snugness. Why should I buy it from store when I have internet, and I can simply type free pc download games, and I  will have about a few million chance`s that I will play as simple as possible.

Don`t get me wrong, I am doing it to, and it`s happening at a large scale, I should say a worldwide scale, and I am not saying it`s all wrong, but free pc download games had developed so much, that I think they don`t have a clue about what they are going do to in the next two years when they will devour all the  resources (ideas). But what am I saying?  the ever growing human mind, won`t let this happen, taking into consideration it is after all a business, and a profitable one to.

One thing is for sure, no matter where you are, or what  you are doing, either you are at home, or at work, free pc download games will do their job, and entertain the human mind and spirit, and it is unlikely that the ones behind them will stop, because as long as one thing is requested, it will be given. But with all that, one thing is certain, and I will never doubt it: nothing  compares with  a complex, full version, bought from store pc game, not even one free downloaded one, but that again, it  is just my opinion. Anyways, I am just wondering, taking into consideration the ever growing mass of free pc download games sites, how it will affect the “shop from store” market, cause in this chaotic life, where everybody is trying to have a purpose, and lives with the impression that time is not enough, simple  and  superficial things are followed, and in our case, it is slightly to stay home without effort and play a free pc download game rather than to buy one.
