Control Games with the Power of your Mind

OCZ, the company awarded for its advanced hardware components has resented a new product intended to be released for the gaming sector soon, and consisting of an innovative input device that connects the central and peripheral nerve activity to the computer allowing you to control games with the power of your mind.

It is called the Neural Impulse Actuator and looks too futuristic but OCZ really made it capable of decoding neural signals and combine them with each other in order to build unique commands which are based on the brain’s permutation, eye’s and on the facial muscle activity.

It is designed as a band for your head integrating a wire and neural sensor pads, the actuator being capable of separating the electrical activities into three groups of neural and electromyographic signals.
According to OZC, the largest market sector targeted by the company is gaming and it seems that gamers will be able to combine the actuator with their mice to for shooting, running and jumping in First Person Shooter games.

The device is not too expensive and will be available at a starting price of $300.
