Some details about the plot of Deus Ex 3 might have been acttidentally leaked and that leaves a lot of room for speculation on what is going to happen in the upcoming game.
So far there have been 2 different trailers released, and in one of them there is a date printed on a ballot box, "2027". The other version has the date removed which could lead us to the conclusion that the action in Deus Ex 3 might be actually happening before the events from the original game, the time in that one being set on 2050, and the sequel story goes on 20 years later. Probably the developers have noticed this and removed the dates, but we're yet to figure this one out until the game will be released.
