EA Problems…Incoming!

If you're thinking about EA problems, then those games they managed to completely mess up are only the tip of the iceberg. After all, I can't deny the fact they also were behind some awesome games, but it's not about EA's games today. What I want to tell you about is another of the EA problems currently unresolved, and that is the company's attitude towards its customers. To be more specific, I want to tell you about censorship on the official EA forums.

The story goes like this - the new version of EA's website and forums, expected to drop by next week, also bring a new policy in the forums. For me, this sounds like dictatorship, and I am sure the same should be true for most of you. Just hear this - the forum accounts will be linked to the EA Master Accounts, "So if we ban you on the forums, you would be banned from the game as well since the login process is the same. And you'd actually be banned from your other EA games as well since it's all tied to your account. So if you have SPORE and Red Alert 3 and you get yourself banned on our forums or in-game, well, your SPORE account would be banned to. It's all one in the same, so I strongly reccommend [huh?] people play nice and act mature."

So, if you get a new game from EA that sucks, and it crashes, taking away all your saves - and you spend all your free time in the last two weeks to get to the point where you were before losing the saves, you can't use any dirty language on the forums. In fact, if you get banned for in-game behavior, you lose your forum account. Also, it works the other way around, as described above.

What do you think? Are those EA problems becoming bigger, or am I just paranoid?
