Everlight – A Twisted Story

Among the games releases scheduled for September is Everlight, a 3D fantasy-adventure PC game developed by Silver Style Entertainment, creator of Simon the Sorcerer 4, and published by The Games Company, developer and marketer of high-quality entertainment software.

Being very new and not too much advertised, Everlight didn’t have enough time to catch the audience’s attention yet.
I will give you a little description so if you’ll like the storyline and the game’s general characteristics maybe you’ll be interested in playing it also.

The world presented in Everlight is a magic and fascinating one, where the action is focused at first on Melvin. He is a misfit because of his passion for mystic and all his classmates try to keep him at distance considering him crazy.

The boy is sick of being what he is and dreams at becoming a knight, a magician or an adventurer.
His way of seeing the world reveals an innocent soul, Melvin dreaming also in hunting down gangsters with some sort of magic wand.
At a moment he gets tired of reality crashes and starts from now on a magic journey with the help of candle magic.

The action starts like a fairy tale for children but it evolves in a twisted, captivating fantasy story.

The game’s special features include the changing between day and night at any time, the four-dimensional time travel quests, an innovative quest diary with a high score display and variable quest help, detailed 2D backgrounds with animated objects, and realistic illumination and light effects.
