Fallout Forever!

Thinking about our world in the aftermath of a nuclear war is something to give you chills down the spine, but what about having to go through all of that? Fortunately, it's about a game, one that made a lot of waves over a decade ago, and now it's going to do that once more. Obviously, I am talking about Fallout, and while Fallout 3 isn't out yet, the game achievements are! Anyway, we're not going to talk about Fallout 3 Xbox 360 achievements, because there's something even more interesting: the future!

As you probably know, the Fallout franchise has been purchased by Bethesda Softworks, the ones behind The Elder Scrolls series. While buying a successful game series and turning it into commercial junk is something others(you-know-who) are very good at, this time the situation will be different, I can tell you that! I don't know anything for sure, but considering the previews of Fallout 3 and Bethesda's past, that's what comes naturally.

The confirmation came from Bethesda Softwork's Peter Hines, who discussed with VideoGaming247 about the future of the Fallout Franchise. "We didn’t buy [the series' license] just to do one and then to never anything again. So it’s sort of like confirming there might be another FIFA next year. It’s their franchise and they’re going to do another one. We bought it for the purposes of doing another one. If we were just going to do one, there’s any number of things we probably could have done differently," he said.

Awesome! Just to remind you, the game is expected to arrive at the end of next month, on the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360. Still almost two months to go, oh my! Waiting can get so hard, sometimes... and I know some of you will surely agree with this, especially those waiting for Fallout 3 since "ancient times..."
