Free Fun Games For 8 Year Old

There are so many free online flash games on the internet, and they are so diversified, so that you will always have what to play. Some of these games are made specially for kids, others are just for the adults, but most of them are to any type of person, no matter the age. Some are really funny and silly, while others are more serious and even educational. Today we’ll choose to discuss about some free and fun games for 8 years old kids.

A site offering a lot of fun games for the kids is puzzlepixies.com, and here you can find games for children of all ages, from pre-school to above 10 years old. Today we’ll discuss more about some games from the “8 to 10 years” category, and we’ll begin with the one called “Jumping frogs”. This is the online version of an old puzzle game where you have to swap three green frogs with three yellow frogs.

After clicking on the “go” button you will have in front of you a pond that has seven lily pads on it. Three frogs that have a yellow colored chest are sitting in the left side of the screen, three frogs that have green colored chest are sitting in the right side, and between them there is an empty lily pad. The two types of frogs don’t quite like each other, so they always have to have an empty lily pad between them. Your objective is to move the frogs from one side to the other.

There will be some small arrows on the chest of each frog, pointing the direction where they can jump. The yellow ones can jump only to the right and the green frogs can jump only to the left. Just click on the frogs to make them jump. If that move is not allowed you will hear a noise, and the frog won’t move. If you don’t have any moves left, the game will be over and you’ll have to start all over again.

And if you complete it you will be congratulated by a Pixie, and there will be some applause hearing in the background. This is a very old puzzle game and it dates back from the year 1883, and then it was called “Jeu des grenouilles”, which means “game of frogs” in French. So good luck and enjoy it!

So now let’s choose another game from this category, and now we’ll talk about the “guess the 3-letter word” game. The name says it all…you must guess the word that has just 3 letters, so that it will be easier for your child. You will have all the letters in front of you, so just click on them until you find out the word. For each letter that you guess you will receive some parts of the teddy bear and your objective is to guess all the letters and form the entire bear.

Each time you guess a letter, some parts of the bear will appear, but when you click on a wrong letter, those parts will be taken back. So just remember the letter you first discovered, and click on it later after you find the other letters too. You will have 30 seconds to guess the word, and after that the game is over. If you start it again you will have the same word, and if you want to have a new word you must refresh the page. So good luck kids!

Just be careful to always stay near the kids while they are at the computer, to protect them from viruses and adult sites, and also don’t allow them to spend many hours in front of the computer, because it is not good for their eyes at such a young age.
