Free Online Spongebob Squarepants Games

SpongeBob is a yellow funny looking sponge and he is  the main character of the famous TV cartoon series called “SpongeBob Squarepants”. These cartoons are following the adventures of SpongeBob and his friends in the underwater city called “Bikini Bottom”. The cartoons are very popular, not only among the kids and also among many adults and they are the high rated show on the Nickelodeon TV channel. The first pilot episode of Spongebob was aired on Nickelodeon in the United States in 1999, and since then it has known a continuous growing in popularity. After the big success it had there were made many items involving Spongebob, such as toys, t-shirts, video games and others.

We already know that the topics of the online flash games are really diversified, covering all the possible topics and characters, so there had to be some games with this cartoon character too. So today we are going to discuss about some of the many free online Spongebob games.

One of them is found on the funny-games.biz site and is called Sponge Bob Boo or Boom. This is a Halloween related game and is quite similar to the classical Bomberman game. So your goal will be to blast away the plank-o-lanterns and to turn the tiles into the color of your character. Get the most candy points before the end of a level to be the winner. It you will turn all the tiles around a house into your color, then you will earn more points. Use the arrow keys to move the character, and the space bar to place a “bomb”. After a few seconds it will automatically explode, so be careful not to be close to it, otherwise you will lose score and power ups. You can choose to play with one of these characters: Spongebob, Patrick, Sandy or Squirdward. As you make the lanterns explode, you will also reveal power ups and these will allow you to set all your plumsters at once, switch places with a plumster, run faster, blast faster or be able to place more plumsters at once. The game can be quite fun to play, but too bad you can’t play it with a friend from the same computer.



There is a site that even has just Spongebob games, and this is www.spongebobgames.org. So let’s play a few games from here, and we’ll begin with the one called “avalanche at planktons”. In this game Bikini Bottom town has been blasted by a blizzard, just in time for the holidays. Spongebob and his friends are set to celebrate by hitting the slopes. But Plankton has other plans. Like a very tiny version of Grinch, he intends to trigger an avalanche and bury the holiday spirit for good. Help Spongebob to stop him in time! Save as many Bikini Bottom ski enthusiasts as possible by collecting them as you speed down the slope. Destroy the Plankton’s evil avalanche maching and also avoid the obstacles in your path. Ski to Gary when you seem him and he’ll make your movements easier. Use the right arrow key to go faster, the up and down arrow keys to steer and the left arrow key to slow down. It is as simple as that and you will easily get used with the controls. You will have to rescue 7 friends as you go down the slope, but you will have to hurry up because the time is limited. The graphic of the game looks nice, and the actual game is quite fun to play. Enjoy it!

Now let’s move on to the next Spongebob fun game, the one called “Bikini bottom or bust”. In this game you will have to use the mouse to pop bubbles, but don’t pop your glove balloon. Click the balloon to snip through falling nets. Stay away from the walls on your way up and on your way down or you will lose points. Just move the mouse left or right and Spongebob will fly that way. He will automatically fly up, so all you have to do is move it left and right to pop balloons and other items and be careful to avoid the walls. For each hit in the wall you will lose points, and after a few hits Spongebob will fall all the way down, and the game will be over.



Let’s play another game, and this time we’ll choose the “delivery dilemma”. Here you will have to help Spongebob deliver ingredients to the krusty krab on time, without getting run off the road by Plankton’s minions. Use the arrow keys to control your vehicle and the space bar to activate the power ups. Among them you will find the star burst, the pickles, the fish oil slick and a time bonus. It is quite a fun driving game , with a nice graphic. The bad part is that if you get knocked off the road, you will have to start the level all the way from the beginning. Good luck!

And the last game we are going to discuss today is called the “Best day ever”. Spongebob has limited funds to set up  his show and misplaced boxes decrease his funds. You will have to use the arrow keys to guide Patrick towards where the box is needed. But don’t mix him up with two opposite calls or Patrick could fumble. Press the space   bar to let him put down  the box. As Patrick begins to lower a box, press the M key to cheer him up, so he doesn’t drop the box in the wrong place. Move stuff out of Patrick’s way so he won’t trip and drop the box. Click on the snail and banana image and shake the mouse over the green thing or bubbles to get them out of the way. Also solve the problems of Sandy, Mr. Krabs and Squidward to keep on supervising Patrick and earn a little bonus. Complete each stage without running out of funds to advance to the next one.
