Fun Free Internet Games
Ten years ago the computer pinball games were really amazing. Since then not only computers have evolved into powerful machines, but also games were redesigned to offer more than a static action. Nowadays, you can still find pinball games online on special game sites. However, someone decided to resurrect for the last time (before a complete extinction) the pinball games. Therefore, in order to make this game even more attractive, Blue Bear Studio released an iPod touch and iPhone pinball game.
On October 06, 2009, Byron Wright, under the Blue Bear Studio's umbrella, released "B.I.T.S" is more than a pinball simulator, bringing new play modes and interesting features. You can currently find this application on App Store under the Games category within the "New and Net worthy" subcategory, with the latest version, 1.0, available for 0.99 price tag.
This game was developed for both 2nd and 3rd generation operating system for iPhone mobile platform. There is no actual story line; however you do get a redesigned game play with a couple of new modes (beside the standard configuration) and new features. The graphics are really well designed, with nice animations, and excellent colors.

Basically you only get one environment, but several changes do occur within the game, that will not let the environment get boring. The sound effects are nicely done. Unfortunately, you are not allowed (yet, keep in mind this is only the first version) to listen to your own iTunes Music Library. However, you get good controls, not really intuitive but once you get their location, these controls provide excellent feedback and fast response time. Therefore, if you are going to touch the top right part of the screen the game menu will appear. If you will touch the top left part of the screen, you will "pause" the game.

In order to release the ball you have to touch and drag all the way down your finger (depending on the speed you are willing to give at launch) and release your finger in order to release the ball. The bottom part of the screen, within the game, is divided only in right and left. When you touch the right bottom part of the screen you will activate the right flippers, while when you touch the left bottom part of the screen you will activate the left flippers. The B.I.T.S mode provides five levels of game (as I said before, within the same tablet or environment). With every new level completed you are going to get a bigger score and you will receive points.

A nice feature, within "B.I.T.S" is the ball cloner that will enable you to clone your ball in 60 seconds as many times you can possibly can. Beside the ball cloner you also get the power ups (on board holograms that will speed up your ball once you get it through the holograms).once you have completed the B.I.T.S mode with all the five levels, you will unlock the Multi ball Mayhem mode (in 20 seconds you will get one ball per second, meaning this mode enables you to play with 20 balls in the same time). Overall, the "B.I.T.S" is not the best resurrection of computer pinball games. Even so, for $0.99 this game is pretty fun. Probably within future updates this game will become more attractive.
