Funny Games For 30th Birthday

Your birthday is always a special day when you need to be surrounded by your family and friends, receive gifts and be as happy as possible. Some of the most important birthdays are when you change the first digit of your age, for example when you turn 20, 30, 40 and so on. For that birthday you will have to throw a really big party, and this also applies to when you make 30 years. This has to be a very well organized party. Make sure that you place it in a day when most of your friends (and even all of them) can arrive. It is not really necessary to place it exactly in the day you were born, and if you place it in another day you will have two days to receive gifts and congratulations from your friends.

There are many things to do on a big party like this, and there are also many funny games for the 30^th birthday. A really simple one is the trivia game. Here you will have to ask all sort of questions about the celebrated person and get the other guests to guess the answers. For example: "When the birthday person had his / her first kiss?" or first job or stuff like that. And the person who will get most of the answers correct will be the winner.

Another game with questions and answers is this one: each guest (one at a time) must think of a word (from different domains such as drinks, trucks, football teams, computer softwares etc.) and give the others just a hint. After that they will have to as questions with "yes" or "no" answers, until someone guesses the word. For example "Is it an animal?" or "Is it big / small?". If no one guesses the word after maximum 20 questions, then that person is the winner. Of course this game can have more than one winner.

Another funny game for a party is the "teddy bear game". It will be even funnier if only the host knows how this game works. First get a stuffed animal, a teddy bear or something like that. Ask each of the players to kiss the bear somewhere on its body. After each one had kissed the bear, ask them to kiss the person from their left side, exactly in the same place they kissed the bear. This game will make everyone laugh and have fun, especially after they had a few drinks.

Everyone knows the "Musical chair" game. In this game there are two or three persons that are spinning around a chair while the music is playing. But suddenly the music stops and they will have to sit as fast as possible on the chair. The first person who will get on the chair is the winner. This is mostly a game for kids, but it can also be played at a 30^th birthday party, by replacing the songs for kids or teenagers with more mature songs like Mozart or something like that, depending on the musical tastes of the guests. To make it even more "mature", you can add a real person to act as a chair - an entertainer who specializes in playing the part of a living chair.

One of the best and famous games for a party is the "Famous name game". It's a great way to make all the people talk, and it doesn't need any supplies. Each person must say a celebrity name. The guest from his right side must say another name, and this name should start with the first letter of the previous name (first letter of the surname of the celebrity). And the game goes on this way around the table, and none of the names must be said more than once. When someone doesn't know what word to say or he repeats a word, he will get a punishment, or will be forced to drink something. And after that the game starts all over again.

Now let's talk about the "Fetch an apple" game. This one needs some supplies. You will need 8 tea spoons, two apples and two chairs. Divide the guests in two teams (of about 5 - 6 players) and form them up in lines. The first 2 players in each team will have the tea spoons. At the distance of 8 meters or so put the chairs, with an apple on each one. The first player will have to run to the chair and get the apple onto his tea spoons, without using his hands. After that he must go back and give the apple to the next player and his spoons to the third player. The second person must run to the chair and back with the apple in his spoons and then give it to the next player. The first team to accomplish this will all the players will win. If they drop the apple on the floor, they are not allow to use their hands to pick it up. They must use only the tea spoons. You can give the winners some prizes, but you can also give an apple to each player, as a little gift for the game.

Another funny game for the 30^th birthday is also a dancing game. The DJ will announce when the game starts. After that each lady should go and invite a man to dance with her. If that man is already dancing with another woman, then she must clap her hands, and at this signal the man should switch partners and dance with her. It is really fun, especially for the guys because they get the chance to dance with many ladies, one after another, and they don't even need to invite them :).

This one is not actually a game but it's a fun activity. The guests will have to bring different object to remind the celebrated person of the best times they had together. They can bring photos, articles, magazines, videos and anything they would like to take the host in a trip back in time.
