Funny Games For Groups
One of human needs is to belong to a social group. Even if it is a large social group like religious groups, professional organizations , sports teams or small social groups as family, human beings need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance.
Being part of a group can have many benefits: learning from the others, teamwork, the process of socialization. But one of the most important advantage is the fact that being in a group you can have a lot of fun doing something together like a game.
Usually games are made for groups. They can be good methods of teaching for kids or helping youth to develop some skills or they could be just funny and recreate people. Funny games for groups allow the group members to get acquainted with one another and they can be played by all age groups.

We are going to talk about some funny games for groups which you can play with your friends at a party, in an excursion or a family reunion.
A good begin can be an icebreaker. Mimicking an Animal - Everybody can play this game! You have to write down on small pieces of paper animal names. If your group count 16 members, then you should have 16 names of animals ( be sure that the number of the participants is an even number). Then each member pick a piece of paper and try to imitate the animal on their slip. They don't have to talk but they are allowed to make sounds. They have to make groups of animals. It is funny and a good game for non-verbal communication.

Do You Love Thy Neighbor - It is good to be used like an icebreaker and energizer.Everybody have to stay in a circle. One of the members stay in the middle of the circle and ask:"Do you love your neighbor?" If the others say 'yes' , the person from the middle have to move on the next person. If the answer is 'no' , she/he ask again:"Then who do you love?" If the answer is "people who wears a cap", all the people wearing a cap exchange their seats. The person who is asked should find a seat for himself. The person who didn't find any seat will be in the circle and have to answer at the next question.
Buffoon - 'Buffoon' can be played by all age groups. The members stay in a circle and one of the participants will be the buffoon. The other participants have to make annoyed, sad or gloomy faces. The mission of the buffoon is to make the participants smile. If a participant smile, he will take the buffoon's place.

Living Sculpture- for this funny game you need saran wrap , toilet paper, tin foil. The team will be divided in two smaller teams. Each team need a volunteer who will be the "sculpture". He/ she will stand in a position while the others wrap toilet paper, tin foil and saran wrap around him or her. The winner will be the team which succeed in creating a "work of art".
Milk chug - Don't play this game if you have a thin skin about disgusting stuffs! But if you don't react at disgusting things or even like those kind of activities- is the best game for you! The first step is to get permission from the parents. At the begin, each participant will get a gallon of milk. The players will chug the milk to see who will finish thw whole jug first. They should have garbage cans on hand because it will likely result in vomiting.

Turkey Bowling - it is a good funny game for groups for Thanksgiving, but you can play it whenever you get together with some friends. First you have to lay some plastic tarps on the floor. Then you have to take ten full bottles of soda and put them in a bowling pin pattern. You need a frozen turkey for each team (don't forget to go shopping and not hunting before playing the game! ) . The turkey will be the bowling ball and the members of the team have to knock down the bottles of soda.
Slippery Limbo - lay a tarp down on the floor and spray some dish washing detergent on it. To create a slippery surface you have to add a little water. Then the participants have to line up to do some limbo.
Bobbing for Ho-Hos - you need some milk, some ho-hos and a big bowl. Then put the milk and Ho-hos in the bowl and let people bob for the chocolate joy.The winner will be the person who have the most of them.
Funny feet - you have to guess who's feet are who's. You need paper and pens, a blanket and a piece of poster board.
You need five or more volunteers who are open to show their feet to the others. They have to write their names on a large poster. Then the volunteers have to leave the room and go in another one where they have to take their shoes off. They have to cover themselves with the blanket, only the feet should be seen. The others have to try to guess who's feet are who's and to write down the answer. The winner is the person who has the most correct answers.

Funny gamesĀ for groups are a great methodĀ to break the ice when there are many persons who don't know each other, but they are also an excellent tool for creating a positive atmosphere within an established group.
In those games all people are equal, they are respected and valued. The humor has an important role and the most interesting thing is that people use to make fun of them and still feel good.
Who says that adults stopped playing? Who says that youth games are boring?
In everybody lives a child.... some of us keep that in mind and use to let the kid play sometimes with other kids...some of us forgot the kid in a dark place. He is crying, can you hear him? He can be happy again, just let him play!:)
