Funny Mother’s Day Games

Any child dreams of the 8^th of March, when he or she can celebrate the one that gave them birth. And we do not do that only when we are children, but even when we are grown- ups and we can design games for mothers.

"Roses for Mom" involves coloring. You can color roses and then print the page to give them to your mother. The game has two subsections: one rose with the flowers and leaves and a rose with only one flower, but with a stem ready to be virtually painted. For coloring, you have to click on the colored circles to change their colors. After you are finished, click on the "Print" button below for printing the page. Also, you can leave the flower unchanged or change the colors back to white and color it with pencils, once it is printed out.

The "Flower Drop" game is about lining up three or more flowers to remove them from the game board and score. You must not let the flower tiles get to the top of the game board. The game is controlled through arrows. With them, the flowers can be moved.

A funny game is "M- O- T- H- E- R". The letter that compose the word "mother" are hidden in the kitchen and the child must find it. The point is to keep mom out of the kitchen of her special day. Every letter found is placed in its order through a simple click.

"Mother's Day Dress- Up Bear" wants to change mom's pajamas to beautiful clothes using a bear. You can use the mouse to drag and drop the beautiful dresses or blouses and skirts to make momma- bear look beautiful on her celebration day, although there is a cuisine outfit present, which enters in conflict with the previous game.

In order to find some of the many things a mother can do, the designers from akidsheart.com invented the "Mother's Day Online Word Search". In a puzzle you will find the things a mom may do.

Although I did not understand why this game is placed in this area, "Flower Rectangles" is about clicking on four or more flowers with the same color for the determination of a rectangular zone. If the area is bigger, so is the score.

Also, there are Jigsaw Puzzles in mother's honor. The four jigsaw or sliding puzzles are named "Mother's Helper", "Mom and Baby Puzzle", "Girl With Doll" and "Flowers and Teapot Jigsaw Puzzle". What is interesting is that the first puzzle, describing a guardian angel puzzle, has a quote from the Bible, more precisely from Proverbs 31: 26. It speaks about mother's way of speaking with wisdom and the law of kindness that her tongue possesses.

Since we are in the religious zone, on this website, there is a Biblical Moms Quiz, with mothers from the Bible. The child can also color an angel, for the mother. The page has a quote from the bible, as well, praising the mother.

There are, of course, games that can be played in reality, activities you can enjoy with your mother. If, for example, she is an active person, you can take her out to badminton, tennis or other game she enjoys. Or cards, carom or chess if you do not feel like moving too much.

You can also interview her and find out many things about her, or even your grandmother. You can take pictures or even record the event. There are many things a mother does not usually say, like how she met the dad, the best or the worse moments in her life, her friends, childhood, etc. She will feel important after this kind of game.

Playing a skit or a play only for your mother will definitely make her feel good. You can include friends, cousins or siblings in your game.

How about a special lunch get together or a tea party? Get the siblings along with the families, and also friends and their family and be a host for a party on Mother's Day. Be sure that you made or ordered your mother's favorite food and that you play her favorite playlist. Mothers do not need dozens of presents or enormous surprise parties to feel they are loved. They love the small things, because they represent their children's size.
