GameStop Deals To Come

In the long years that I've spent as a buyer, I managed to learn a very important rule - NEVER set your mind on a brand or retail chain! NEVER-EVER! There's no place where all products are great deals, and there's no such thing as "I love that store, I'll buy everything I need from it," even if you have to go to another location simply to pick the mouse you want.

Before moving on, there's one more thing to know - sometimes, you have to wait for a while to get the best out of your favorite retailer, and today the time has come to talk about the GameStop deals waiting around the corner...

... because the US retailer has big plans regarding small prices! No, we're not talking about games here, it's much better - cheap PlayStation 3 and Wii consoles, that's the deal! ;)

According to GameStop's CEO Daniel DeMatteo, the company's forecast of 33.5 million hardware unit sales has been done keeping in mind price cuts on the PS3 and Wii that should drive sales higher in third quarter. "That assumes that there will be price cuts on the PS3 and potentially one on the Wii. It’s hard to tell if we actually need a price cut on the Wii to get to our numbers. There are some price cuts built into that assumption, but not until the third quarter," he said.

Unfortunately, there's no additional info about the GameStop deals to come, so let's hope for severe price cuts, shall we? They will also arrive just in time for BioShock 2, Tekken 6, or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, so let's get ready for the best!
