Grateful Dead coming to Rock Band

Rock Band Game
Harmonix and MTV Games announced today that the legendary music group Grateful Dead will be joining the all-star line up of musicians, for their upcoming project, Rock Band.

The group is already mastering 18 tracks from their vast portfolio, including immortal hits like “Truckin’”. “Uncle John’s Band”, “Touch of Grey” or “Sugar Magnolia”. Through the Rock Band Videogame platform, players will be able to experience Grateful Dead’s unique sound, a mix of rock, folk, blues and jazz, that resulted in one of the most creative sounds in music history. With a history of over 30 years the legendary group is sure to attract a lot of fans to the game.

Rock Band will challenge gamers and music lovers to put together a rock band and tour the country, playing concerts, all the while trying to master the lead and bass guitar, drums and vocals. Judging by the success of previous Harmonix music titles, we’re to expect something spectacular. Especially if we consider the number of artists, record labels, music studios and music publishers involved in this project.
