Hellgate: London – RIP!
Sometimes, games are too good to be true. Sometimes, a few times too many, projects that could take over the gaming world are being aborted before seeing the light of day or - even worse - people get to see them, play and enjoy them, just to find out that one of their beloved games is going to be sent right into the abyss of gaming oblivion. Unfortunately, Hellgate: London's turn has come, as the official servers will be closed on the 31st of January, 2009...

If you didn't get to play Hellgate: London online yet, you can still take advantage of those few (very sad) months before the end. Since it's too sad to say anything else, here you have the official mumbo-jumbo:
"NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced that they will continue to support customers of PC game
NAMCO BANDAI Games appreciates the enthusiasm of all the Hellgate: London players and looks forward to providing them with future entertainment products."
Hellgate: London, may you rest in peace, once your final hour becomes a part of the past, as everything turns to dust, sooner or later. RIP, Hellgate: London, you will soon be gone, but you won't be forgotten just as easy!
