Hell’s Kitchen Game With Gordon Ramsay
Hell is a very interesting topic, because you get to see it in a lot of movies and computer games, most religions are threatening you with it for your sins, a lot of people believe hell is on this planet, or at least in some of its areas but, above anything else, hell is very good for media sales! Just think about all those Hell's Angels movies, those "Hell" movies(search for them on IMDB, there are quite a few, although most of them are pretty obscure), games like Clive Barker's Jericho or Devil May Cry, and many other media products that are related to this topic, including the American competitive reality television series Hell's Kitchen, which is just next to our subject, Ubisoft's Hell's Kitchen: The Video Game...

Now, Gordon Ramsay easily moved from a real kitchen to a virtual one, and it seems he even enjoyed the experience. The game allows its players to experience the high-pressure kitchen and dining room from the TV show, challenged as a 3D Chef Ramsay watches their every move, and provides feedback, using the voice of the real Gordon. "I had a great time doing the voice for my own animation. Being in a video game is a new experience for me and I'm very pleased with the results," said Hell's Kitchen Chef.
The funny part of this game is that you can even learn something useful in real life, since each order is carefully executed - preparation, cooking and service, and as you move on further inside the game, you are being rewarded exclusive recipes from Ramsay's own repertoire. Sweet!(or spicy, depends...)
According to Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft North America, "Hell's Kitchen has everything a great video game needs: pressure, excitement and intense competition. We are very excited to be bringing the intensity of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and the Hell's Kitchen experience to the virtual world this fall."
Just great! Now it's too hot to spend time in the kitchen, anyway, so having the game available in early September should be just fine, to have enough time to practice and get ready for Christmas. Am I right, or not?

First they release a deadliest catch game (for the ignorant, deadliest catch is a programme on Discovery about crab fishing. the show's better than it sounds.) Now they release a Hell's Kitchen game. Do I detect a trend here? Bad games based on good TV shows.

Heh, that wouldn't be something new, just like bad follow-ups to great movies, bad games based on good movies(see Iron Man), and so on...
