Infinity Blade II
Infinity Blade II is the sequel to one of the biggest iOS games presently. The game has a lot of scope, variety and plenty customization which makes it only better than its predecessor.

In terms of visual, it is quite good. If you are playing the game on a iPhone 4S or an iPad 2, the visuals are just great because of the graphical optimization on these devices. The visuals are quite decent on the older models of Apple gadgets as well. The near console like quality makes it a joy to watch and play.
In this sequel, there is a semblance of an actual story this time around. The game is much more than the previous version, where the game’s goal is to kill the notorious God King in retribution for murdering your bloodline. In the sequel, there is a lot of usual fantasy clichés that becomes a slight hindrance during game play. There are no voice-overs of characters speaking in a fictional language as they did in the previous version of the game. Instead, there are hammy American accented voices that do not gel with the medieval settings of the game, but thankfully most of it is told through cut scenes which can be skipped.
There is a deeper focus on combat in this version. There are three categories for weapons that you can wield - two swords, a sword and shield, menacing battle axe. If during the game you find the magic gems in treasure chests and downed foes, you can use them to customize your weapons. You can gain extra power and add elemental damage such as water or fire to your weapons.
There are several more combat options to choose from in the sequel, which opens a lot many game-play options. If you wish, you can let go of the shields and choose to go for an all out attack, with swords in both hands. You could also opt to go in the opposite direction and settle down with the battle axe that will let you deal direct damage and let you dodge attacks with ease. You can also choose to stick with the sword and the shield for combat. The best thing about this game is that you can fight with whatever choice of weapon you want.
The choice extends to how well you play the game. In this sequel, you can decide on how you want to approach the devious domain of the God King. Like the earlier game, your character will keep dying multiple times and you start from the beginning again.
The dynamic nature of the game makes Infinity Blade II a lot more fun and entertaining. It is a game that is far more superior than most of its counterparts being offered on the App Store at the moment.
