Max Payne Played By Mark Wahlberg

Movie adaptations of video-games are not something new, but it's the cool actors we see in them that makes us more interested to see how the role blends in. Recently Mark Wahlberg was ofered to play as Max Payne in a movie that has its concept largely inspired from the video-game with the same name, whicj should be familiar to all gamers who like first person shooters. My Holywood sorces mentioned that the movie will be directed by John Moore who also worked on "Behind Enemy Lines" and "Flight of the Phoenix". The movie plot follows closely the action from the first game of the series, where Max loses his wife as she is murdered by some drug dealers who were supported by a criminal group syndicate. Hopefully, this will not cause irritation among the fans of the game series like in the case of Timothy Olyphant and the Agent47 role.
