Well, based on its PC Demo, I will admit that this tactic is probably a necessity to keep the sales up. If I were to compare with its predecessor (NFS Carbon), I would pick Carbon as the better game, because 1) Better Road Feel – hell, I was using the friggin GT-R Proto and I felt as if I was going 50 KM/H (even though the dial says 145 KM/H). 2) Better Graphics – Those cars did not look all that great to me, I set it on high-specs and it did not even impress my eyes. 3) Cars suck! – I was driving the legendary BMW M3 in that damn race and its aceleration was that of a 350Z!!! The GT-R Proto was no different.

Controversial, but probably needed to save their arse from total catastrophy. Don’t like what I’m saying? Prove me wrong.
