Nintendo DSi In US?!?
If you never owned a Nintendo console, or at least one of their handheld consoles, you lost a lot, believe me. I never owned one, but I had a friend having a Nintendo 64 and we had sooo many insane gaming sessions on that machine, I will always remember those days! Now, let's leave pleasant memories aside, and move on to the present day. While Nintendo DSi details already became available, there's one big question remaining - when is this beauty going to hit the US market?

Now that the new handheld gaming console has been revealed in Japan, and it looks so well, compared to its predecessor, everyone wishes to see the Nintendo DSi in US, and that's no surprise. After all, having a SD slot makes all the difference, but we shouldn't forget about the two digital cameras built in, or the larger screen and thinner case.
Fortunately, the answer to the question I pushed forward earlier has become public in San Francisco, where Nintendo America unveiled the Punch-Out and Fire Emblem, and promised a lot of other goodies. Unfortunately, the answer doesn't look good at all...
The story is sad and very simple - "Due in North America in 2009," that's what Nintendo officials said in San Francisco. This is it. While Japanese gamers will play like crazy with these new Nintendos, American ones will have to wait and dream about the Nintendo DSi.
Well, that's life - you can't always get what you want, and this time - you won't even get what you need, since I am sure that most gamers on the road really need the new Nintendo!
