A bachelor party is a special party held for a bachelor, a few time before his wedding. The purpose of this party is that the bachelor and his male friends have a lot of fun, and involve himself into activities that his future wife might not approve. So the bachelor along with his friends will do all sort of crazy activities, such as drink until they fall down, go to a strip club or hire a stripper. In some cases, other activities for the bachelor party are hazing-like tests and pranks at the expense of the future groom. The bachelor party is considered to be a ritual of passage from bachelorhood (which is associated with an adolescent lifestyle, with less responsibilities and lots of fun) to a more responsible life style which will be in the marriage. The party is usually organized by the best man of the future groom, or by his best friend. But it can be organized by any of the friends, or by many of them together.

So today we are going to talk about some of the fun games and activities for a bachelor party. So the most famous activity for a party like this is to…drink :). You can simply drink shots, and get all the men drunk really fast, or you can try some drinking games, to make the drinking an even more fun activity than it is. One drinking game that you can try is called “Quarters”. It can be played with any number of players but the best is to have 3-6 players. To be sure that there will be no arguing after that, choose before the games starts the size of the drink that will be consumed. You will choose this depending on how strong the players are, and how they can resist at alcohol, or depending on what type of drinks you are using. If you are using beer you can set the drinking size of 250 ml once, or if you are using strong alcohol (whisky, tequila or others) you can choose a size of 50 ml. So all the players will sit around the table, and first spin the quarter and when it stops it will point at a person that should start the game. For the pointer you can choose the nose or ear or any body part of the person shown on the coin. The person that starts the game will try to bounce the quarter off the table and into a glass. If he succeeds, then he will choose a person at the table to consume the amount of drink you established. If the shooter does not succeed to throw the coin into the glass, then you can make him to drink, or you can simply move on to the next player.

Another really fun drinking game is called “Three man”. For this game all you need is one but preferable two dices. So everyone will roll one dice until someone rolls a three. And this person will be the “three man”. The game will go on, everyone throwing the dice, and pass them to the next player if they don’t roll a drinking number. But if he rolls one of the drinking numbers, here is what you must do: when rolling a three, that person becomes the three man, but also has to drink something. Then he can pass the dice to any person he wants. If someone rolls a 7, then the person on his right will have to drink. If he throws a nine, the person across him will drink and when he throws a 11 the person to his left will drink. When someone rolls a 10, then everyone from the table will have to drink. Some other combinations are when you score a 1 and a 4. Whoever makes this combination will become the Thumb master. This person can place the thumb on the table whenever he likes, and everyone at the table will have to do the same. The last person to notice and do the same will have to drink. The Thumb master will change when someone else hits a 1 and a 4. Another combination is when you strike a double. In this case you will choose a person from the table, and that person will have to throw the dice. Whatever number he rolls, he will have to drink for as many seconds as shown by the dices. So with just a pair of dices you can easily have a lot of fun, and get everyone at the table to drink a lot.



Let’s talk about one more drinking game, and we’ll choose the one called “Anchor man”. For this one you will need a few quarters, a pitcher and a lot of beer. Split the players in two teams, and choose which one starts. Then each of the team members will have to shoot a quarter and try to make it land in the pitcher. Each player shoots once, and either if he scores or not then the next player will shoot. The first team to get all the coins in the pitcher is the winner, and this means that the losing team will have to drink the pitcher (which contains about 4-5 beers, depending on its size). But here comes the interesting part: the winning team must choose a player from the other team who is the “anchor man”. This person has to drink last, and to finish the remaining beer from the other players. So it is up to the anchor man teammates to decide whether they will drink just a little of the beer, and let it all for him, or they will drink the whole beer and don’t let any for the anchor man. The person who drinks must not take his lips off the pitcher, otherwise he will have to pass the beer to the next person. The anchor man can take his lips of the pitcher, but he has just 2 minutes to drink all the beer. This game can get pretty nasty, and if you are unlucky to be choose as the anchor man for many times, and your team mates will leave you a lot of beer, then you will easily get drunk.



So beside drinking you can also do many other fun activities such as bring strippers, play poker or other gambling games, tell jokes, hire a music band and then drink again :).  Have fun!

In this one the child will have to put the pieces of the puzzle together onto the grid to make the whole picture. Just click on the “Go” button to start, and you will have in front of you a grid with pieces around the edges. If you want to see how the entire image looks, just move the mouse over the grid and it will appear. But as soon as you move the mouse away from the grid the image will disappear, so you have to remember how it looks. You will have to take the pieces from the edge and drag them on the correct position. If you place the piece in the correct place, you will hear a noise, and the piece will remain there. And if you don’t get the right position, the piece will go back on the edge. After completing the puzzle, Trixie the fairy will appear. You can always restart the game by clicking on the clear button. The game is quite fun, and your kid will don’t give up until he gets it right. And this game will also help the kids to learn the mouse control and with visual recognition and memory.

Now let’s move on to another kind of game, one that is a easier version for the kids of the famous Sudoku game. And this is the Kidoku game. The difference from the real Sudoku game is that instead of numbers this one has pictures, to make it easier for the kids. And also the puzzle size is smaller. Just click on the green Go button to start. The goal of this game is to get one of each picture in each row and each column  such as the same picture is not repeated in each row or column. You must have just one of each picture in a 2 by 2 region surrounded by a thick line. In the game you will also have the clear button to start all over again, and the check button which you must click when you think you arranged all the images correctly. To add images on the squares just  drag them, and you will hear a ping sound if you got the move right. When you completed the game, and if everything is set correctly, Dixie will appear on the screen. But if you click on the check button and the pieces are not placed correctly you will hear a voice saying you to try again. This game will allow your kid to learn the mouse control and it will also encourage logical thinking and visual recognition. Just click on the go button to start the game, and then click on the desired square to place your X. After that the computer will place an O, and is your turn again, and so on until someone wins. When you win, the fairy Trixie will appear.



Let’s play just one more game from this site, and we will choose the “shape sorter” game. This is an online version of the classic shape sorter game and it will teach your child shape recognition and mouse control. Just use the mouse to drag and drop each of the colored shapes into the correct hole from the black box. So we’ll begin with a game just like this (that takes place on Earth but has something to do with the space) and we’ll choose the “Obama Alien Defense”.  As you already figured it out, you will play with the famous president of the United States of America – Barrack Obama and  your goal will be to kill all the green and ugly aliens. You have to use the arrow keys to move Obama, and the Z key to shoot at aliens. Also collect weapons and coins as you advance in the game, and raise the  United States flags to save your progress. The intro of the game is quite nice, presenting Obama watching this video game, and suddenly he is transposed into the game and begins the adventure. The graphic of the game is simple but quite nice, and both Obama and the aliens are looking good. There will be all sort of aliens, and also many levels  so you can have a lot of fun playing this game.

The next space related  game that we’ll play is the one called Gravity. In this one you must guide your space ship safely through all of the missions. You will first see an introduction movie showing you that the planet is being under attack, and you are the only hope to save it. Use the arrow keys to control the space ship. The red arrow will always point towards the planet and the gravity will pull the lander towards the planet. You will see a display with the remaining time and distance from the planet. Before beginning the first mission you will be shown what to do: first take off from the landing pad, and fly to the pad on the right. Considering the length of the trip you may want to pack a snack. The first mission will be quite easy, and you will have to fly just a little distance. But in the next mission things will get complicated because you will have to fly from one pole of the planet to the other, and then return to where you started. Be careful how you use the thrust of the space ship, because it can easily gain speed and go far away from the planet. Or it is also possible to gain speed towards the planet, and hit into it, and in this case you will have to start the mission all over again. Our advice is to fly as slow as possible, and keep a distance of about 100 m from the planet. In this second mission it is recommended to fly on the left side of the screen, when going down and also when returning back, otherwise you could hit into that big blue stone. Also be very careful at the landing, because you will not want to destroy all your hard work to get there, and then start all over again. In the third mission you will have to pick up a fuel cell form the landing pad marked in blue and deliver it to the pad marked in red. The ship only has fuel left for 80 seconds, so you will have to hurry up. To make things even more difficult there will be two big and green aliens sitting right next to the fuel cell. So after all this is a really fun and addictive game, that will keep you busy for a lot of time. Good luck!



The next game we’ll play is called “Space fighter rebellion”. Here you must destroy all the meteors before they destroy you. Use the arrow keys to move and the X key to shoot. You can launch a plasma bomb with the space bar or quite the game with the Q key. To be honest the game is really annoying because the space ship is very hard to control. It will easily gain a lot of speed and move from one side of the screen to another. If you go into one of the edges of the screen you will appear in the opposite edge and so on. So you will need a lot of patience for this game and you will have to control the space ship with slight moves.

So let’s play one more game, and we’ll take the one called Space hopper. Here you will hop from planet to planet and collect bonuses while avoiding the alien life forms. Use the left and right keys to go around planets and the up key to jump. Jump near a neighboring planet to catch it’s gravity and hop to it. Collect all the stars to open the black hole, and go through the black hole to reach more levels and find your way back home. Also collect red stars in order to get extra points. Certain elements will harm you and lower your health meter so watch out where you step. Some planets will have different proprieties such as gravity or slipperiness. This game looks really good,  has a nice music and  it is also fun to play. So good luck!
