GTA 4 Boats

As I said yesterday, today is the right time for filling up our personal docks in Liberty City. Just think about it - the sun is shining, it's Saturday, the wind is gently blowing...so what can be better than grabbing your boat and going out on a weekend cruise? Yeah, right, if you're addicted to bikes or cars, then you should go back and check the GTA 4 bikes article, also having links to those previous articles about all the cars in Liberty City, but today it's all about boats, so go get your life jackets and life savers!
GTA 4 Boat Dinghy
The Dinghy, pictured above, is not quite the boat of my dreams, but it can surely take you from a place to another pretty fast, but watch out for rain! With the Dinghy, you may leave home in a dry suit and end up a wet rat...

- Dinghy - 2000kg, $40000, 35 knots
- Jetmax - 5000kg, $40000, 50 knots
- Marquis - 12200kg, $40000, 12 knots
GTA 4 Boat Marquis
The Marquis, pictured above, is just my kind of boat. Despite the fact it can be very slow, I think of it as my mobile living room, and there's one thing you won't get with the previous two boats - sails! If you feel like sparing some fuel, and the wind is good for sailing, just drop those sails and enjoy the experience!
GTA 4 Boat Police Predator
If you really want to scare your friends fron the interlope world, just get the Police Predator and go to their docks! I am sure their reaction will be priceless...

- Police Predator - 3000kg, $40000, 45 knots
- Reefer - 8200kg, $40000, 19 knots
- Squalo - 3000kg, $40000, 45 knots
- Tropic - 5000kg, $40000, 50 knots
- Tug - 50000kg, $40000, 19 knots
GTA 4 Boat Tug
Now, I have no idea why would you get the Tug, but if you really need to get from one point to another on water and this boat is the only alternative...why not? Just be sure your friends won't see you in it!

These being said, we'll see each other again tomorrow, so be sure to get your flight gear in place. On Sunday, we're going to fly!

GTA 4 Bikes

Did you miss all those GTA 4 cars we talked about this month? Well, I can tell you that first you got all GTA 4 cars from A to D, then from E to H, and then from I to P, so we can finally fill the parking lot with the last GTA 4 cars a few days later. The good part is that this isn't over yet, because we still have to talk about the bikes, boats and airplanes in GTA 4! Today, the time has come for bikes, and in the next two days, we'll finish filling the dock and the hangar...
GTA 4 Bike Faggio
Bikes are the best thing you can get in GTA 4 when it comes to acceleration and going where no car can go, but the starters are pretty slow, like the Faggio(the name sounds like Piaggio, and it even looks like a Piaggio, but anyway...), pictured above. Unfortunately, there aren't many bikes in GTA 4, but let's check what we have, and enjoy each one, shall we?

- Faggio - 4 gears RWD, 200kg, $7000, 104 km/h (64 mph), 12.3 seconds
- Freeway - 5 gears RWD, 300kg, $20000, 218 km/h (135 mph), 6.9 seconds
- Hellfury - 5 gears RWD, 300kg, $25000, 218 km/h (135 mph), 6.9 seconds
- NRG 900 - 5 gears RWD, 300kg, $25000, 300 km/h (186 mph), 4.4 seconds
GTA 4 Bike NRG 900
Yeah, baby! Just look at it, just look at it! This seems to be the best vehicle to use when being chased by all cops available in Liberty City, but...wait! There are a few more bikes to check, and the PCJ 600, pictured below, is the first of the three remaining ones...
GTA 4 Bike PCJ 600
- PCJ 600 - 5 gears RWD, 250kg, $20000, 266 km/h (165 mph), 4.4 seconds
- Sanchez - 4 gears RWD, 200kg, $12000, 234 km/h (145 mph), 6.9 seconds
- Zombie - 5 gears RWD, 300kg, $25000, 218 km/h (135 mph), 6.9 seconds
GTA 4 Bike Zombie
Nice bike for a villain, and well chosen name, don't you think? Unfortunately, the Zombie is the last bike in today's short GTA 4 bikes list, but today we'll see those eight boats in the game, so don't worry. I just wish there were as many bikes, boats and aircraft, at least to see them all together match that impressive GTA 4 cars collection...

No More Heroes

Have you ever felt the need to kill someone? If not, you surely encountered only people you'd die for, instead of killing them, and I am really glad for you. Fortunately, the game I want to tell you now is not about random killings, because everything seems to have a purpose here, while the main goal is to kill other assassins. I know this is not completely original, but the story managed to make me smile, because I am sure a lot of gamers will identify themselves with the main character, as we're going to see right away...

No More Heroes, previously called only "Heroes," is an action game for the Wii console, directed by Goichi Suda, also known as Suda51, developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, and published by no less than 4 companies: Marvelous Interactive Inc., Spike, Ubisoft and Rising Star Games. Now, let's get to the story, shall we?

Your character is Travis Touchdown, a stereotypical otaku(a Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly anime and manga, and I think we could also add gaming to those, don't you agree?), who is living a poor life in the No More Heroes motel of Santa Destroy(yeah, right!), California. I wonder how come he didn't rent a room from a old gramma, instead of paying a motel room and living near poverty, but nothing is perfect, so we should also add that Travis Touchdown wins a beam katana in an Internet auction, so he becomes a hitman.

Once this starts, there's no way back, because the first job he accepts is to kill Helter Skelter, nicknamed "the Drifter," an assassin ranked 11th by the United Assassins Association, taking its place. Now, Travis has just became a target for other beginners, so the safest thing to do seems to climb up the hierarchy, and secure the top assassin position!

Handling the game is not extremely hard, since the Wii Remote is in control of the beam katana, while the Nunchuck attachment helps moving Travis. While playing, despite of using a katana, you should be careful to reload it. Why? Remember this is a beam katana, so it works...on batteries, which I can't say is extremely believable. Killers on batteries? Come ooon!

When talking about all the characters in the game, apart from the UAA assassins, there's Silvia Christel (is it possible for Mr' Suda to be a fan of the Emanuelle series???), a "mysterious" and "cold" woman providing ranks and setting up matches. Those helping Travis are a weapons maker named Doctor Naomi, the former pro-wrestler Thunder Ryu, and a drunk, Randall Lovikov, each with his own part in the larger picture.

No More Heroes is a title that you must try, if you're into manga and wrestling, but I think most Wii users will surely find something attractive in this title, so go ahead and give it a try as soon as you can spare enough time to dive into the universe!
