Dream Pinball 3D!

I don't know about the others, but sometimes I get distracted by very simple games for a long time. One of these games, apart from Minesweeper, has always been Pinball. I am talking about the one that comes with Windows, of course, so it's no surprise that I was delighted to find out about the game reelased today by SouthPeak Games, called Dream Pinball 3D!

Dream Pinball 3D

As you can see in the screenshot above, this title promises to be "a dazzling pinball simulator [that] combines striking 3D graphics, realistic physics and a refined control scheme." Now, the game should be available in stores across North America already, but I guess I'll have to wait for a while until it becomes available in Europe too.

Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak Games, said "Dream Pinball delivers a dose of nostalgia along with a great price point that makes it a must-buy for any fan of the genre."

"Great price point?" Sure, m'am, you can count me on! The recommended retail price is only $19.99, and the game is available for Windows PCs, the Nintendo DS, and the Wii. For additional details, feel free to click and surf to the Dream Pinball 3D official site.

Unreal’s End?

Did you enjoy Unreal Tournament 3? I know the story behing the single player campaign may not be brilliant, but who needs stories with such a game, after all? Well, no matter how much some people would claim that Unreal Tournament 3 lacks originality, the title is an excellent game, at least from the technical point of view. Unfortunately, it seems we won't get any other single player Unreal game in the near future...

Unreal Tournament 3

In an interview with Eurogamer, Epic's Mark Rein said the new Unreal may arrive someday, but for now, there are no clear plans for a new title of the franchise. "I'm sure that at some point in our future we will make another Unreal, single-player, story-driven game. I'm sure at some point there will be one...[however] there are no plans to do one today," he said.

Anyway, in the near future Gears of War 2 may arrive, so all those Unreal fans will get enough things to do...

Turok For PC

Hunting is not one of my passions, but hunting dinosaurs is surely something many of us dreamed one day. Anyway, we're not going to talk about Jurassic Park here, because I have a subject that's going to keep you occupied for a longer time, that's for sure. Its name? Turok!

Turok 2008

While the Turok character appeared in 1954, the first Turok game appeared 43 years later - Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, for the Nintendo 64 and PC. This game was followed by Turok: Battle of the Bionosaurs for the Game Boy, the same year, and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, in 1998. Since then, 3 more games in the series were released, but the last one gets back to the roots, being simply called "Turok."This year's Turok is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, and the PC version has been officially announced by Touchstone yesterday. With a suggested retail price of $49.99, Turok for PC allows you to play with the mouse and keyboard or a game controller, and features a very interesting story-driven single player mode, as well as multiplayer gaming for up to 16 players.

"Fans of Windows-based PC games have been excited about the opportunity to experience Turok on their favorite platform. We are confident that Turok delivers a unique gameplay experience that will make their wait worthwhile," said Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing, Touchstone.

Need I say more? The dream is over, now get your black ops commando boots, impersonate Joseph Turok, go to a mysterious planet in the future and start hunting dinosaurs!
