Prince of Persia 2008

Prince of Persia is one of those game franchises that always managed to stand out of the crowd, and - at least to me - all the games from the series were great. In the Prince of Persia trilogy, Princess Farah had no effect on gameplay, but now, Ubisoft Montreal wants to change this, by adding Elika to the game, the Prince's female cohort. Didn't you get it yet? Well, here's the short story - our Prince finds himself in a beautiful oasis, after being lost in a sandstorm, but this beauty is only an illusion. An evil spirit, Ahriman, breaks free from his prison and begins corrupting the outside world, but this time the Prince won't fight alone - Elika, one of the last remaining Ahuras (the guardians of Ahriman's prison), is going to stand by his side.

Obviously, all the above is just the beginning, but since there's some time left until we get to see this game on our computers, the new Prince of Persia game is just another item added on my "wait, seek and purchase" list...
