Prince Of Persia – The Movie
The shootings and the works will start in june for one of the most promising adventure movies, based on the Prince of Persia game series (the action will be inspired mostly from the "Sands of Time" game as one source mentioned). It is no secret that the Prince of Persia trilogy has one of the best game-stories and since the movie will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (who has a very good reputation for creating high caliber films) we can say that we should expect a very good movie based on the game.
The team working on the project have a draft of the screenplay, but they haven't settled on a time period yet. "I guess it’s the 8th or 9th Century, but that could change too. It might change a little bit, we’re not sure yet. It’ll definitely be a period film; we’re not going to make it contemporary", said Jerry Bruckheimer. My guess is that since there are many quality people in volved in this project, and a prince with crazy acrobatics skills the outcome will be very interesting and good.

How about any actors? Who will play the Prince? I've been waiting for this movie ever since I finished WW, too bad I'll still have to wait a while.

As stated by IMDB Prince of Persia : Sands of Time is scheduled for 2009 and should be directed by Mike Newell. Hopefully they'll update the imdb entry from time to time. I cant wait to see the cast.

better they prefer Karl Urban or Brendan Fraser or Timothy Olyphant.. as hero ..
