Street Fighter Games Online Free

Street Fighter is a really famous arcade game, that appeared a long time ago, in the year 1987. It was created by two Japanese people: Takashi Nishiyama and Hiroshi Matsumoto. In this original game you played with a fighter called Ryu, and you had to complete martial arts tournaments, in different countries and beating 10 different opponents. But the game was also playable in two, and a second fighter called Ken could join the fight at any time. The fighter could use his fists and legs to hit his opponent, and there are three types of punch and kick attacks, each one from a different angle, speed and strength. There are also three special attacks, and they can be performed with different combinations of the punch and kick keys with the arrow keys. The game Street fighter was included in many TV game consoles, and later on the computers. It appeared also on the famous consoles such as Play Station or Xbox.

Some of the initial fighters from the game were Ryu, Ken (the fighters you can play with) and Lee, Mike, Geki, Joe, Birdie, Retsu, Gen, Adon, Eagle and the boss Sagat (the 10 opponents).

But this was just the first series of the game, and in 1991 it appeared the second series of Street Fighter. The Street Fighter II was actually the first one-on-one fighting game, which was giving the two players the opportunity to choose one from many characters, and to fight against each other to see which is the best. Each of the fighters from the game has its own look, and his own moves and special powers, so choosing the right character was also important to win the fight. But the games was also available in the single player mode, and here you would fight against other characters controlled by the computer. An interesting boss character from this series was Mike Bison, which was a parody of the real life boxer Mike Tyson. The second version of the game received and update called “Street Fighter II Champion Edition”. This version had an improved graphic and it also allowed the players to fight using the same character. So this way all the moves and special powers were exactly the same, and the only difference was made by the fighting style of each player. And this way you can really see who is the best: you or your friend? After this there were others improved versions of the game, each one with new moves, new colors, new music and also new characters. Some of the new fighters included were Cammy, Fei Long, T. Hawk and Dee Jay. There were also added the “super combos”.

So the game expanded more and more, and it began to be famous all over the world. The teenagers (but not only) were really anxious to fight against their friends and to see which one is the best. The game continued it’s development in the 90’s and also in the years after that, receiving different upgrades, and being included on all kinds of game consoles.

The game was so famous that in 1994 there was released in Japan an animated film called “Street Fighter 2”. Later there was made an animated TV series of Street Fighter on the Japanese televisions. But the really interesting thing is that Hollywood also made a movie called Street Fighter. Of course this was a real movie, not an animated one, and some of the actors that played in it are the famous Kylie Minogue and Jean Claude Van Damme. Of course the film was inspired by the video game, and it had many fighters from the game, but it also introduced some new characters. So after the movie there were some versions of the game, with characters from the movie. Here are just some of the many characters found in all of the versions of the game: Akuma, Alex, Balrog, M. Bison, Vega, Blade, Bloody Hokuto, Cammy, Chun-Li, Dan, Dee Jay, E. Honda, El Fuerte, Gen, Gill, Joe, Juni, Lee, Ken, Poison, Rufus, Ryu, Seann and many more. The latest version of the game is the Street Fighter IV series, made in 2008, which has an advanced 3 D graphic, some cool looking fighters, and all sort of moves and combos.

Some other things inspired by the Street Fighter games were different comic books in different countries (Japan, USA and Brasil), card games, slot games and of course many Street Fighter free online games.

There are some online games inspired by the Street Fighter console games, or movies, but you can also find the original games exactly how they were on the console many years ago. When playing the original Street Fighter game online you can play with the default controls, but you can also set all the controls exactly how you want, for each of the two players. So you can play it against the computer, or against a friend. Here you will have 8 characters to choose from. The game will be quite fun to play, and will remind you of the old game consoles.

The Street Fighter 2 game can be found on many sites, and also on the funny-games.biz site. In this one the first player will use the arrow keys to move and the A, S, D keys to punch and the Z, X,. C keys to kick. Unfortunately on this site you will find just one fight, the one between Ryu and Sagat. But Sagat will be really tough to beat, so you can play the game for a while, and then search for another Street fighter online game.
