Twin Blades of Azzinoth Sold for 7000E

One of the two people in the world having the two legendary Warglaives of Azzinoth in World of Warcraft decided to sell his account and make a quick profit estimated to around 7000E. EBay used to be a free market for WoW accounts and in game gold selling, but it all came to an end when Blizzard pulled its weight through the mother corporation Vivendi International. According to the WoW Terms of Agreement, trading in game goods for real money is forbidden and the involved parties are prone to termination of service, aka they get the accounts banned. Even so, the demand is still high, as a lot of players would rather buy WoW gold to gain an advantage, instead of investing countless hours in the game, doing the same things over and over again. It’s pretty much the same deal with already leveled characters, but today’s issue is a whole different matter.

The Twin Blades are quite a looker

Zeuzo is the character in question and was a member of Method, the top guild on the EU-Sylvanas realm – the number 11 guild in the world according to Bosskillers. He’s playing a rogue and managed to get the first blade when Method for the first time killed Illidan. Now Illidan is a demon hunter with a huge lore background, the last boss in The Black Temple instance, the most difficult one to beat in the WoW game progression. It seems luck favored Zeuzo a second time, for shortly after, Illidan was downed again and the other Warglaive of Azzinoth dropped. Zeuzo was now the happy owner of the Twin Blades of Azzinoth, the best melee weapons in the game. Needless to say, you need a lot of skill, luck and preparation to have these, even if you are a master of the game and play for 10 hours daily. Think of it this way: the average damage per second done by a 10-man raiding party in the modest level 70 instance Karazhan is 2400dps, roughly the same damage this one guy was dishing out fully raid buffed after having these two beauties. Believe me, it’s insane. The only change this items needs is a chance on kill to yell "You Are NOT Prepared!"
Illidan Stormrage
Illidan received the blades from doomguard commander Azzinoth in the war of the ancients when he was still fighting for Night Elves, before betraying them by revealing their plans to Sargeras. He took the blades in his 10000 year imprisonment, grew more and more adept wielding these demonic weapons, to the point where he became more proficient than the original owner.

Naturally, this made an instant community star out of Zeuzo, recognized now mostly by his gear and not his playing prowess. I couldn’t believe he would ever try and sell his account, but apparently Zeuzo left Method and his native realm, only to be relocated to Kazzak, under the name Shaks. This character has the exact same specs as Zeuzo and can by no means achieve the same performance as his previous owner. Rumors have it that an Arab sheik bought the account for a fabulous sum of 7000E. Unfortunately Blizzard employees are bound to catch a glimpse of the transaction, which could eventually result in banning the character. That was not a wise investment, since you can’t buy skill, but I guess the current owner just couldn’t help himself.
