World of Warcraft Emblem of Heroism

A large part of World of Warcraft revolves around doing dungeons and raids, in order to get better pieces of armor and weapons. After the launch of World of Warcraft acquiring items from raids would be left to chance only, and you might go for months without seeing an items drop from a specific boss. This all changed in the first add-on for World of Warcraft with the introduction of badge loots, each boss in a raid instance or heroic dungeon would drop a badge of justice. In Wrath of the Lich king, the second expansion of World of Warcraft badge system got an upgrade, but instead of calling them badges, the name was changed to emblems. World of Warcraft emblems of heroism drop from heroic dungeons and 10 man raid raids. Blizzard has implemented a better version of these also which are named emblems of valor, but we will discuss those at another time.

World of Warcraft emblems of heroism allow players to buy epic quality items with the same item level of naxxramas 10 man. They fairly easy to get as they drop from heroic 5 man dungeons also, and from the lower difficulty raid in naxxramas 10 man. One you have acquired the World of Warcraft emblems of heroism, you can purchase epic quality items from different vendors around Dalaran (main city capital in Northrend). You can also purchase heirloom items, which can be mailed over to any of your characters on the server, this way you can equip your lower level alt characters with better piece of armor and weapons to help them level up a lot faster.
