Probably everyone has ever heard of the sport called football (or soccer). Even though the Americans don’t like it so much, all the other countries of the world love it, and it is widely considered to be the most popular sport in the world. These days it became more than a sport, it is an entire industry, that is making millions of dollars from advertising, soccer competitions, selling merchandise, video games and other stuff. Beside the famous EA Sports game series called FIFA, there are many more other soccer video games. And this is the “penalty shootout – the particle theory”. As the title says this is a penalty shootout game, combined with chemistry questions. Before starting the game you must choose a character, and here you will find many famous people such as: Hilary Clinton, Thierry Henry, Karl Marx, Michael Jordan, Gandhi, Che Guevara, Robbie Williams, William Shakespeare and many more others. Beside the player you can also choose the skills of the keeper and the colour of your equipment. Before being able to shoot the ball you will have to answer a chemistry question. You will have 4 possible answers, and there is no time limit. So you can even browse the internet and search for the correct answer. If you give the right answer to the question, then you will get the chance to take a penalty shot. Click on the screen next to the ball when you consider the direction is good. If you don’t give the correct answer there will still be a penalty shot, but you won’t control it, and the ball will hit the post or be saved by the keeper. It is quite a nice game, and you can improve your chemistry knowledge while playing some soccer. Good luck!

Another fun soccer game that can be found on the miniclip.com site is the “beat the wall”. Here you must try and beat the wall and find the way to the goal. There are six progressively harder levels. You get 3 attempts per match, and if you score spectacular goals you will get more points. Use the arrow keys to aim your shot but also be careful at the wind. Then move the kicker backwards to determine your run up and the power of the shot. Finally adjust the swerve and lift of your kick to send the ball to the back of the net. The game is quite fun, and also very realistic for a flash game, because you get to change so many parameters, and each of your shots will be different and spectacular.

Let’s discuss one more soccer game, and this time we’ll choose one that really let’s you play a soccer match, including passing, dribbling, shooting and other elements. This is the “world soccer” game, also found on miniclip.com. Here you will have to take your team all the way through the world championship stages and finally win the competition. Because it is a world championship game, you will be able to select your team from many countries from all the continents. After choosing your team, you will see the team line up and their equipments. If you are a fan of soccer, you will notice that the names of the players are quite similar to those of the real famous players. You can play with those names, but you can also change the name of each player, exactly how you want.
