The game puts you in the shoes of a treasure hunter. Your goal is to get as many keys you can find to open the treasure chests. Basically, "Skeleton key" is a puzzle game. This game is also entertaining and unique in the same time. The game play is rather simple, just matched every key with the correct treasure chest. You must unlock all treasure chests using the skeleton keys provided when you complete levels.

"Skeleton key" provides 100 levels, each and every one of them being not only unique but also challenging. Every level completed provides one single key for you to try to match with the correspondent chest. You can move the keys simultaneously, so suite your swipe direction. Every direction is possible without moving up (you can move to the left, to the right and down). Your mission is to guide the keys to the treasure chests without getting stuck.

However, you must move fast or you might get stuck. Therefore, when that happens you must restart the level. Before starting playing the game, take in notice that you are allowed only a specific amount of moves to direct all the keys to the treasure chest. Manage your moves in order to complete all the 100 levels. The graphics offered in this game are pretty decent. This is after all a puzzle game. Therefore you should expect great animation or 3D graphics.

To complete the overall good user experience you also get nice sounds and music. The total numbers of songs offered in "Skeleton key" is five. However, most users will probably just listen to their own playlists because the "Skeleton key" enables you this feature. Also keep in mind that the game will get harder with every level completed. You get three different game difficulty to choose from (the common easy, medium and, of course, hard). The only difference between this difficulty levels is the specific amount of moves you are allowed to make in one level. Your final score is determined by a various number of factors, such as number of moves left at the end of each level, number of lives kept at the end of each level, and many others. You can find "Skeleton key" on App Store with current version 1.2 for $1.99 price tag.

This upgraded version brings a few more features, such as skipping levels (with each level skipped you will lose one life), intro message (from the beginning of the game) disappears with just a tap on your iPod touch or iPhone screen. Now you can also use the accelerometer sensor to restart a level by simply shaking your device. "Skeleton key" is a great puzzle game. It is fun, and doesn't involve too much pressure for finishing it. Even so it will keep you entertained enough to play it at each level of difficulty.

Subatomic Studios LLC released the first version of "Field runners" (version 1.0.0) on 5 October 2008, for iPod touch and iPhone running the second operating system for the iPhone mobile platform. "Field runners" was an instant success, and was considered one of the greatest tower defense games released in 2008 for iPod and iPhone with iPhone OS 2.0. The first version was also nominated for a few iPhone software application awards. The instant success consolidated Subatomic Studios LLC on the market, already preparing similar "Field runners" games for the entire important mobile platform, such as Play Station Portable and Nintendo DS.

Only six months later, on March 13 2009, from the launch of the 1.0.0 version, Subatomic Studios LLC, released on App Store for only $2.99 price tag, the 1.2.3 version of the "Field runners", now compatible with both second and third operating system of the iPhone mobile platform. The latest version of "Field runners" won several awards in 2009, because of the improved game play and lack of software issues. Therefore, "Field runners" received the "Best Mobile Game" award for 2009, and "Excellence in Art" award. You can easily present "Field runners" as the perfect combination between the legacy (regarding the game play) left by Tetris and the wave created by Bejeweled. I can't through myself into statements, but "Field runners" version 1.2.3 is the best Tower Defense game on the App Store, and it seems like it is bound to stay, at least until the release of 1.3.1 version.

If you are not yet familiar with any version of the "Field runners" then you should know that you get three modes of game play, Endless, Classic and Extended. You should probably start with Classic Mode and Extended Mode, to get familiarized with the game play and controls. In these two game play modes, you are constricted to defend only 100 stages.  You get six tower types, Gatling Tower, Goo Tower, Missile Tower, Mortar Tower, Frame Tower, and Tesla Tower. Each of these towers comes with its very own special ability.

In order for you to defend yourself and to attack and destroy your enemies you need to build towers anywhere you choose on the field. Use this customizable feature as you wish and create your very own game play strategy. Classic Mode offers the possibility of building only four out of six tower models, Missile, Gatling, Tesla, and Goo. The Extended mode allows you to choose from all the six tower models. In the Endless mode, your only purpose is to defend indefinitely. It seems that Subatomic Studios LLC enjoys the number three, because it offers three difficulty levels and three maps from where to choose from.

So, you get easy, medium, and hard as difficulty modes, and Dry lands, Grass lands, and Cross roads as maps. Because "Field runners" is a tower defense game, the overall strategy may seem familiar. You have to upgrade your towers with better defense systems, and continuously change your strategy attack, not letting your enemy get used to it. The graphics are exceptional for a tower defense game, you even get enough details included. The controls are intuitive. Therefore this game will seem user friendly.

Overall, "Field runners" offers a great game experience, and it will not let you get bored. You can easily find this game addictive because of all the features it brings.

If you enjoy a full package action shooting game (not a first person shooter) then you might want to take a look at "Above & Beyond Air Combat".

You don't get the best graphics in the world, but this game still packs a full 3D game experience. You get the full package of fighters, from aircrafts to battleships. You have to use every skill you got, and every weapon on your aircraft and battleship to explore, conquer and take full control of the island. This game is somewhat customizable. Therefore, expect the unexpected. In order to defeat and conquer you will have to improve your management skills and carefully improve your armada with all sorts of weapons or shield. However, take in notice that in order to do so, you will have to acquire credits. These credits are earned by going through all the three battle modes.

The three battle modes offered in "Above & Beyond Air Combat" are Gauntlet (this arcade mode features a time race which includes taking out obstacles, targets and acquiring all sort of bonuses), Survival mode (a second arcade mode which delivers a full action experience that will set you against a full enemy armada, good luck in surviving), and the Conquest mode (the main mode where your only purpose is to conquest the island, and not just to survive like in the Survival mode). Also after every island conquered you get a high score (calculated in strict relation with the overall necessary time to win the island, the ammo used in the process and the aiming accuracy).

Also the game will reward you with achievements. You can use all these rewards to compete on an online data base using the integrated Open Feint 2.1 feature, provided by "Above & Beyond Air Combat". Also, in the customizable department of this game, we can include over 15 different weapons (the whole artillery package, laser guns, ray guns, missiles, automatic machine guns, flak cannons, and many other more), better protection shield for your aircraft and the list could go one. Actually this game is interesting because of the customizable features, allowing you to play the game in various possible scenarios. "Above & Beyond Air Combat" provides for starters 60 islands.

All these islands are divided in different regions (world states, if you like). Therefore, you are not going to be bored with the same island. Not at all, in your conquest you will discover tropical islands, desert islands (weird and unrealistic), glacier islands and a more normal volcanic island. The game play does indeed divert half of its time to the islands exploration. If you don't mind this feature then "Above & Beyond Air Combat" will not feel half dull. The graphics are good, not bad and not excellent, but good. Enough to even make you addictive to the game play, especially because of the full 3D environment. Also the game experience is heading to great, because of the possibility to listen from your own playlists within the iPod touch, or iPod feature from your iPhone.

The controls are accurate and provide good feedback, not letting room for complains. Overall, "Above & Beyond Air Combat"  is an addictive game if you enjoy aircrafts, survival mode, and environment exploration. The current version of this game is 1.0 and it is offered on App Store for $2.99 (it can be considered a bargain, since its price tag is reduced with 25%).
