Fun Kid Games For Groups
The App Store doesn't include only games and software for adults, but also for children. Remember, that iPod touch is a great mobile platform especially for simple and fun games for your children. However, it is hard to find none offensive games for your child, and even harder to find an educative game. The Duck Duck Moose Partnership is trying to improve this low featured game segment within the App Store by releasing a funny, yet educative game for your child, or the child in you.

On September 24, 2009, Duck Duck Moose Partnership released the first version of "Itsy Bitsy Spider", the best award winning game for children based on the song with the same name. You can currently find this application on App Store under the Game category with the 1.0 version for sell at $0.99. This game was developed strictly for the third generation operating system for iPhone mobile platform (or later versions of the third generation). "Itsy Bitsy Spider" is compatible with both iPod touch and iPhone (all the generations for both devices). This game is more like an interactive game / movie. Your child will understand how to play thanks to a fly, which is supposedly being the tutor.

A great feature of this game is that everything is touchable. Every detail can be touch and explained. This game is fully interactive, exactly what kids need from games. The story line is exactly the one from the song. The graphics are really nice made, 2D but full of nice details, to enrich every environment uses. This game provides a full music experience, with the possibility of making your own music (with the musical eggs), or listen to classical music, and even record your own singing. Don't worry about controls, since the environment is fully interactive, you can touch anything, the only navigational control happens when you poke the spider (the game jumps from a screen to another).

Other elements your child can do within the game is to make the rain come down, play peek a boo with a frog, and many other fun, and non offensive, or violent mini in games. This game is educative, because you can easily teach your children everything you want them to know about the nature, some animals, and environment. Also, the tutor fly will answer questions for your child, so that you get a few minutes of rest.

Questions like "who makes a rainbow?" should keep your child fascinated enough. Your child can also play several learning games, such as counting from one to ten (in the meanwhile a squirrel will build a house), or find hidden eggs. Overall, the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" is perfect for your child to have some fun, keep quiet, and learn some important information about the environment, animals, or even to count from one to ten.
